What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)
New In Factions 2.8
- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

Posted May 5, 2014So Can someone help me? I have been makeing a server and i wanted to know how i can change my factions into the old factions. Like instead of /f p you did /f power or instead of /f f you did /f show or /f who How do i change this?? Please help!

Posted May 5, 2014People can't explode tnt in other bases. Like shoot a tnt into someone else's base. How do I fix this? Also I don't know if its my server but does this not make a config?

Posted May 5, 2014Overall I like the plugin but I would like to have a leader of a faction to have power to allow officers, members and recruits certain commands; e.g. officers are allowed to invite players and promote, name customization for officers (e.g. roles such as infrastructure and resource manager), and would like to see an extra 1 or 2 ranks because having 3 other than leader i find it hard to manage without difficulty when giving certain roles to each officer/member/recruit.

do /f claim over the zone, dont be in a faction while doing it, that will remove the zone

Posted May 3, 2014How can I enable people to open chests and place fire in enemy territory? I edited the conf.json so It didn't include containers however it doesn't work. I'm running version 1.8.2. Could anyone help me?

Posted May 3, 2014I am using factions and i followed the steps and it wont let me use the commands i used /f create and all i see is unknown commmand i am op on the server and i still cant do anything. Also i gave my players this factions.* and it doesnt work. Please help me out i want to get my server up

I use Spigot and Clearlagg but nolagg doesnt work with spigot. So cant i rather use craftbukkit + clearlagg + nolagg, mostly cause spigot doesnt even work wit factions.
Said that does factions work with 1.7.9 minecraft? the current one.

Posted May 3, 2014I have a question: Can I claim ALL the world as SafeZone? I'm trying to do that using /f claim 10 SafeZone, and then /f claim 20 SafeZone... or /f claim 100 Safezone... So I want to know if is there an easier way to claim the world, because these commands are very slow. Is something I have to edit in a .yml file, or I have to use the metod above? Thanks
