What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)
New In Factions 2.8
- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

Posted Dec 12, 2013Okay so i'm wondering how to do this:
I have it so claims must be connected. I want it so that when you are claiming over other peoples bases, you cant just go to the center and claim their home. But thats the thing, they are just doing /f unclaim instead of claiming there base. (they don't have enough power to hold this land), but they shouldnt be able to unclaim other peoples land, only overclaim it with their own if they don't have the power.
Is this in the config that i can fix or is it not possible to make it like that.

Posted Dec 12, 2013I have installed the newest version of factions and MCore. When I talk in-game the colours from Essentials Chat have gone, and it displays my chat slightly differently. It also shows no faction badge. How do I fix this?

Make sure you also have MCORE 7.0 installed. Without it, Factions won't work.

Posted Dec 11, 2013how do i disable chest protection because people use creeper eggs to explode chest but the chest dont brake there used to be a territoryProtectedMaterialsWhenOffline but apparently thats gone i need help !!!!!

Posted Dec 11, 2013To get core 7.x simply google mcore 7.0 It should be the top link, if you click that link it wont work, but there is a little arrow next to it, click that then press 'cached copy' it will take you to the cached page with a direct link to mcore. I just downloaded it with the new factions and it works ace :D Im running the latest bukkit dev build and so far all my plugins work
