It's due to the bleeding-edge dev build of CraftBukkit you're using. I posted a temporary recompiled build for the current releases, but since they were offsite download links the BukkitDev team removed the links due to their policy apparently forbidding those.
I don't plan to add an official update to our file listings here until they release at least another Beta build of CraftBukkit, so I guess you'll just have to wait. Or recompile it from the source on GitHub yourself if you know how to.

Posted Dec 7, 2012yeah i kinda asked the same thing >.>
Anyway priority system works even though i used this : f config worldGuardChecking false so "yeah!" :P
For those who are as stupid as i was.
if your global region overrides any other region and has a command blocked such as /f then it will actually block the command regardless of the worldguardcheck config part.
Thanks.

I just described exactly what the setting does. Beyond that I never used Worldguard much and am not the person who added the Worldguard related features, so I can't really help much on that front.
As far as areas you don't want factions to be able to claim, did you consider using SafeZones and WarZones? Or if you're using Factions 1.7.x you can create custom factions with whatever available attributes you like and use those for special areas.

Posted Dec 7, 2012If i disable it does that means they can claim it pretty much everywhere inside the one world?
As like my spawn has region protection and i dont want any faction to take stuff over there. As well they may only remain in the specific PVP zone which is basicly the actuall pvp zone.
Just wondering if the priority system, that the /f commands still get blocked everywhere exept in that pvp area if i turn it to False

Sounds like you have "worldGuardChecking" enabled (it's disabled by default), which prevents anyone from claiming territory which is in a Worldguard region. So: /f config worldGuardChecking false

Posted Dec 6, 2012Meh, it hurts the users more than anyone else.
I don't plan to upload fixed builds to our "official" file listing until they at least release another Beta of CraftBukkit, so until then anyone who insists on using a bleeding-edge dev build of CraftBukkit will just be shit out of luck if they want a fix.
It doesn't help that file uploads here sometimes take upwards of 2 days to be approved by the BukkitDev moderators.

There was a topic about it, and others did not like how "popular" plugins got away with it.
So guess they have to enforce it now, shame too for emergency fixes. :(

The only change in the bleeding edge builds posted is the recompile and the "b" added to the version number. You probably need an updated LWC.
Aaaaaand... the ever helpful Bukkit team has removed my "offsite links" to the fixed bleeding edge builds in my earlier post. How endearing.

Posted Dec 6, 2012Is it possible to add an upkeep fee for a faction, which is the cost per day to keep the faction's lands. With a basic faction the cost per day is 0, but lets say they claim 20 land, then the upkeep could be 10 per claimed land, so 200 per day.
If this feature is not there I may create a plugin to do this assuming there is api to hook into factions.
Edit: Also if they fail to pay the fee, then they lose some amount of land perhaps a configurable amount based on how much land they took. As well as a % penalty to the faction bank.

Posted Dec 6, 2012i got a problem since a small while already.
I have an worldguard region, which is global basicly,. Denieying ALL faction commands, PRIORITY OF THE REGION = 0
then i have a large pvp zone, priority is 3 so therefor it should override the faction denyal of commands. It does, HOWEVER when people use the command
/F claim
they get a message : This land is protected
Is there any kind of fix for that? Did i forgot something..? (spoofed a few details of the area) globalpvparea: type: cuboid min: {x: -x.0, y: 0.0, z: x.0} max: {x: -x.0, y: x.0, z: x.0} priority: 3 flags: pvp: allow greeting: x. farewell: x. allowed-cmds: [/f claim] fire-spread: allow lighter: allow build: allow blocked-cmds: [] owners: {} members: {}

i don't get what you mean. whats turrets?
i am not complaining about the problem, i am complaining about the ppl which are complaining. :P
EDIT: Ah you mean there is an updated version in the comments.
Anyways: The last 2 reported errors are clearly caused by using the wrong version.

Could you make it so that when a player is removed due to inactivity, their data in player.json is not deleted and they simply get removed from their faction and put into wilderness. This is messing with power boosts in that when a player comes back after a period of inactivity, they no longer have the correct power boost.
