What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)
New In Factions 2.8
- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

If nether is enabled, is there anything to stop someone from an enemy faction to calculate where your city is, relatively speaking, in the nether realm, and build a nether gate there, and have it pop up inside your city? It would be slightly annoying to have a nether gate spawn in the middle of someones land.
I know this could be countered by having a nether gate built in your city as 'standard' access to the nether, but i'd rather not have to restrict my users to anything like that.
Like i said, just wondering what the outcome would be?
(i tried looking up this info, but there was nothing one way or the other regarding nether that i could find)
Edited side note:: I may just be stupid... right now, i'm trying to remember if this goes both ways? XD Can gate built in the nether even create a gate in the real world any more? I thought at one time they did.... i'll have to look up some more :/

As someone who understands bytecode compatibly, you simply need to recompile your plugin. It will be backward compatible as well, because in the old versions of CraftBukkit there exists a synthetic override for the 'new' signature inherited.

Please read what I just posted.
The eventual update will be incompatible with all versions of CraftBukkit older than today. Until the next Beta of CraftBukkit is released I'm not going to post an update that only works for the brave and/or foolish people (like you) who are running a bleeding-edge dev build of CraftBukkit.

That change they just made a few days ago breaks any plugin which monitors EntityChangeBlockEvent, as shown in your log with the long list of broken plugins.
Do you really need to use such a bleeding edge dev build of CraftBukkit? They do tend to have plenty of bugs (some pretty nasty, like villagers despawning as has been reported on a recent change which doesn't appear to be fixed yet) and also sometimes break plugins like you're experiencing.
It's much safer to at least stick to a Beta build of CraftBukkit instead of a dev build.
There's not much point in us addressing this breaking change until they release another Beta build which includes it.
