It offers server-admins the possibility to add a new outstanding way of travel to their servers.
More videos on DragonTravel (including tutorials)
Features:
- Allows admins to set destinations for the dragons.
- Allows players with the specific permission to summon and mount a dragon and...
...fly flights which consists out of waypoints(as many as you like)
...fly to destinations which have been set by an admin before.
...fly to coordinates chosen via command.
...fly to players choosen via command(different permission-nodes for other types of travel).
...fly to your faction's home-position (Factions required)
...fly to your town's spawn (Towny required)
...fly to a home-position which has been set by this player earlier. - Allows admins to set stations and limit the mounting of dragons to these locations (or a specified radius around it).
- Possibility to require a special item for players to use the plugin (e.g. a dragon-egg)
- Making signs which automatically mount a player and bring them to the written destination on the sign.
- Permissions-Support
- Support of all Economy-Plugins supported by Vault (Vault is required for that)!
Admins can set different prices for all ways of travel! - Admins can choose in the config whether dragons of this plugin should destroy blocks or if any dragons should break blocks when touching.
- All messages are fully customizable! Default messages.yml is English, but we provide German and French language files as well.
Due to the fact that things can change rapidly in this project, I stopped maintaining instructions on the plugin and other information like a list of commands/permissions in the forums, on this page etc. and decided to create a central location where you can always find all information up-to-date: The DragonTravel-Wiki.
Please use this wiki and report all mistakes you find in there and avoid posting questions on topics like commands/permissions/sign-creation etc., which are answered in the wiki, in the comments.
The questions and requests posted in the comments are repeating and there are some questions we answer at least once per week, so we decided to write down some of those Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read the questions below and see if you can find your question there, this really saves us time we can then spend on the development of DragonTravel.
- Is it possible to change the speed the dragon's wings are flapping?
- Is it possible to remove the dragon's health-bar?
- Is it possible to control the dragon manually?
- Is it possible to move the rider closer to the dragon to avoid him flying above it?
- DragonTravel does not start, what can be the problem?
You can find the answers to those questions in the FAQ!
Please read the paragraph above before posting any questions!

Phiwa, I think you read my messages wrong :s
I said the problem with the stationary dragons is caused by the fact, that they are not saved and are NOT bukkit entities and therefore get automatically removed on a reload or restart. Bukkit does not save our costum entities. We did not implement any save for them, so they are just removed.
The problem with AntiCheat is, that H31Lix or however his name is, was not able to create a maven repo in a period of 3 months and that now I can't compile DragonTravel on my Jenkins because of it, since the dependency is missing.
There are no problems with AntiCheat in 1.7.1, the major problem is that I can't compile anymore, which prevents me from developing.
Argh and yes, I am extremely pissed by the missing maven-repo.

Yes, but the bug is caused by the fact that we have a problem with the AntiCheat-hook and didn't remove the part which is not working because we are only waiting for H31IX to create the Maven-repo. Everything except the stationary dragons should work as usual. :)

Seems like the problem isn't caused by MV, MV simply recognizes it. The problem is caused by AntiCheat and we are still waiting for the developer of AntiCheat to create a Maven-repository, so we can fix the error. Due to the fact that it will take some time until H31IX will create the repo (if he does at all), the stationary dragons cannot be used until either he creates a repo or we find a different solution...

No, I don't think it is possible to influence MV, it simply reloads the whole shit and doesn't care about DT. The only thing which might work (I'm not sure at all!), is to tell DT to start after MV and hope that this takes MV the possibility to revoke the new entity. I'll ask XemsDoom if it works this way, he is the active coder. ;)

Simple solution for the problem: Avoid reloads.
Simply reSTART the server, a Multiworld-reload seems to kills the XemDragon-Entity which DragonTravel adds to the entity-classes at server-startup.
DragonTravel doesn't work at all afterwards because it cannot control the "normal" dragons implemented in Vanilla Minecraft, but only the new dragon-entity it adds on startup. There is no other solution for your problem, reloads only cause problems... :D

In the 1.2.5 version I had a very similar problem, where if I traveled to one station I would be dropped about 30 blocks away. It only happened coming from the direction of my house.

Posted Nov 10, 2012You should make a command that corrosponds to tpa in essentials. For example /dt tpatravel (playername)... /dt tpaccept and /dt tpdeny. So instead of have to toggle on and off its just a request but keep the toggle for VIP rank uses.

Posted Nov 7, 2012I have a problem with one of my deststination: the dragon dismounts players allways 43 blocks befor it reaches the x coordinate. After i increased the x coordinate of the destination in the dest-file manualy it "works" (landing at the right location ingame but not the right coordinates).
This only happens since 1.42 in 1.7 and 1.71, and only when players fly from east to west.

Well, it is very important that you also use the right version of DragonTravel with the right version of Craftbukkit, because otherwhise, the movement of the dragon is not controlled, which exactly leeds to holes in the world. ;)
Use version 1.7 for Minecraft 1.4.2: http://ci.xemsdoom.com/job/DragonTravel-Bukkit/12/

Use a 1.2.5 version. Any kind of update seems to break this plugin, the 1.3 versions cause massive destruction in both 1.4 and 1.2.5 servers.

I read that a bit too late... I ended up going into creative to fix the massive hole in my wall.
The links to your Jenkins page are turning up 404 errors.
