DragonTravel
It offers server-admins the possibility to add a new outstanding way of travel to their servers.

Features:
- Allows admins to set destinations for the dragons.
- Allows players with the specific permission to summon and mount a dragon and...
...fly flights which consists out of waypoints(as many as you like)
...fly to destinations which have been set by an admin before.
...fly to coordinates chosen via command.
...fly to players choosen via command(different permission-nodes for other types of travel).
...fly to your faction's home-position (Factions required)
...fly to your town's spawn (Towny required)
...fly to a home-position which has been set by this player earlier. - Allows admins to set stations and limit the mounting of dragons to these locations (or a specified radius around it).
- Possibility to require a special item for players to use the plugin (e.g. a dragon-egg)
- Making signs which automatically mount a player and bring them to the written destination on the sign.
- Permissions-Support
- Support of all Economy-Plugins supported by Vault (Vault is required for that)!
Admins can set different prices for all ways of travel! - Admins can choose in the config whether dragons of this plugin should destroy blocks or if any dragons should break blocks when touching.
- All messages are fully customizable! Default messages.yml is English, but we provide German and French language files as well.
Due to the fact that things can change rapidly in this project, I stopped maintaining instructions on the plugin and other information like a list of commands/permissions in the forums, on this page etc. and decided to create a central location where you can always find all information up-to-date: The DragonTravel-Wiki.
Please use this wiki and report all mistakes you find in there and avoid posting questions on topics like commands/permissions/sign-creation etc., which are answered in the wiki, in the comments.
The questions and requests posted in the comments are repeating and there are some questions we answer at least once per week, so we decided to write down some of those Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read the questions below and see if you can find your question there, this really saves us time we can then spend on the development of DragonTravel.
- Is it possible to change the speed the dragon's wings are flapping?

In the recode we also included this fix and hope to be able to release an early version of the "new DragonTravel" soon, but I got some problems with my time-management (being out of town and writing exams doesn't improve the situation), so stay tuned and wait for the recode. It's done when it's done. ;)

Delete the config and messages YML files. If there's a problem with them, DT won't fire up. It's a simple matter to edit them and change a couple settings, if you are doing anything outside of default. I don't have any of the other plugins with DT, just DT itself, and it works fine in the latest bukkit version. No economy plugin. The only real "glitch" is that the dragons fly facing the direction you're facing when you mount up. This means that the dragon will fly sideways or even backwards, as well as forwards. It never used to do this, so there's a glitch to be fixed when the author gets some time.

Posted Jun 22, 2013I must be missing something important, because I can't get DragonTravel to work on my server. I just restarted my server, and it's the only plugin that isn't listed in the console during the restart. I have the most up-to-date version of both DragonTravel and Craftbukkit, and all of my other plugins are up-to-date as well. I installed this as I've installed every other plugin, by putting the jar in my plugins folder. Are there added steps I'm missing here?

The glowstones didn't disappear or the light caused by them stayed?
They cannot be broken by hand until you restart the server, so do that and remove them by hand as a short-term fix . ;)

Posted Jun 14, 2013For some reason, the economy option doesn't work, people are still able to travel without getting charged. I have Craftconomy 3 hooked to Vault and the payment setting is enabled. How do I fix this?

Of course, when the plugin is in a stable release state, ill look into less intrusive ways (that don't involve the red damage on a dragon at the start) to sort it. But the current solution appears to be working do it's not too urgent :D

We took a look at that yesterday and it seems to work, but x3nec recognized that damaging the dragon seems to have the same effect and might use less resources, so we will evaluate that, implement one of the features and hope to fix those flapping wings by that. ;)

Posted Jun 5, 2013I may have a way to fix the wing flapping problem .. not sure if it will cause more lag though .. I have noticed that when 2 people get on a dragon the first dragons wings change to the correct speed .. however the second dragon is still at the fast speed .. so is there any way you can spawn a second dragon right after the first then despawn it?
I am fairly certain this happens the same every time ... at least every time I have tried it.
