DragonTravel
It offers server-admins the possibility to add a new outstanding way of travel to their servers.

Features:
- Allows admins to set destinations for the dragons.
- Allows players with the specific permission to summon and mount a dragon and...
...fly flights which consists out of waypoints(as many as you like)
...fly to destinations which have been set by an admin before.
...fly to coordinates chosen via command.
...fly to players choosen via command(different permission-nodes for other types of travel).
...fly to your faction's home-position (Factions required)
...fly to your town's spawn (Towny required)
...fly to a home-position which has been set by this player earlier. - Allows admins to set stations and limit the mounting of dragons to these locations (or a specified radius around it).
- Possibility to require a special item for players to use the plugin (e.g. a dragon-egg)
- Making signs which automatically mount a player and bring them to the written destination on the sign.
- Permissions-Support
- Support of all Economy-Plugins supported by Vault (Vault is required for that)!
Admins can set different prices for all ways of travel! - Admins can choose in the config whether dragons of this plugin should destroy blocks or if any dragons should break blocks when touching.
- All messages are fully customizable! Default messages.yml is English, but we provide German and French language files as well.
Due to the fact that things can change rapidly in this project, I stopped maintaining instructions on the plugin and other information like a list of commands/permissions in the forums, on this page etc. and decided to create a central location where you can always find all information up-to-date: The DragonTravel-Wiki.
Please use this wiki and report all mistakes you find in there and avoid posting questions on topics like commands/permissions/sign-creation etc., which are answered in the wiki, in the comments.
The questions and requests posted in the comments are repeating and there are some questions we answer at least once per week, so we decided to write down some of those Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read the questions below and see if you can find your question there, this really saves us time we can then spend on the development of DragonTravel.
- Is it possible to change the speed the dragon's wings are flapping?
- Is it possible to remove the dragon's health-bar?

That's correct.
The dragon-model is rendered client-side and is only re-rendered when the dragon changes the direction of movement, so in the beginning, when the dragon is spawned below the player, it has the same viewing-direction and this doesn'T change on normal travels, but only on flights when the dragon turns at a waypoint.
I already thought about a workaround in the new version of DragonTravel and I think I will let the dragon move a blocks into the "wrong" direction, so it turns after one block and I hope this will solve the problem. :)

Posted Jun 2, 2013I really like this plugin! The only problem I'm having so far is that sometimes the dragon will fly backwards when traveling to a destination? The direction in which the dragon points seems to be affected by where the player is viewing the sign from when they click it.

I actually don't really get all your different questions, interpunctation would really help me with that. ;).
Concerning the WASD-control, please read the FAQ, you can find a link to them in the big red sentence above the comments.
Cocerning first-person control and becoming a dragon: DragonTravel is about travelling by dragon, not about transforming into a dragon.

Posted Jun 1, 2013can you make it to where you can coltroll it with wasd and the mouse that is what I want and I know becomeadragon does that but the first person view it you looking down at the dragon so it is realy you floating on top the dragon and you are invisible I want to ride it like in this plugin and controll it.

That happens when fixing a bug a few minutes before leaving the house.
When I released v1.8.8.2.4, I accidently removed the check if Economy is enabled, so DragonTravel always tried to load Vault and if it could not find it, it disabled itself.
Should be fixed now, v1.8.8.2.5 is only awaiting approval.

You have to delete the whole DragonTravel Folder, before you update new version of DragonTravel!

No, there is absolutely no line of errors in server.log.
I will try without other Plugins, maybe there is an conflict anywhere

Sorry mate, totally forgot that while working on the recode and since I roasted my main computer's power supply last week, I didn't have access to the source of the "old" DragonTravel.
I just fixed the problem and uploaded a fixed version, v1.8.8.2.4 should be approved tomorrow.
Sorry again for the long time without a fix, updates and fixes will be easier and therefore faster with the new version and two developers working on it then. :)
Please report major bugs, minor bugs won't be fixed because I hope to be able to release the new DragonTravel within the nexttwo months, but I'm out of town for 3-4 weeks in this time, so I don't know if it will work out.

Might be the case. Like I already said, DragonTravel uses reflection to "manipulate" Craftbukkit on server-startup, but if Forge modifies Craftbukkit as well, DragonTravel might not be abld to find the things it needs to change and therefore crash. -.-

Which version of Craftbukkit are you running?
If DragonTravel worked on your server before the last craftbukkit-update? If it did, please read the server-log again, I guess the problem is an outdated config.
