CreeperHeal
CreeperHeal
CREEPERHEAL HAS MOVED TO SPIGOT
Protects your server against Creepers, TNT, and griefers!
CreeperHeal is more than a griefing protection plugin : it repairs the damage done by explosions (Creepers, TNT, etc...) and fire, in a natural way! Stay a while after a Creeper made a hole, and you will see the terrain pop back slowly, block per block, exactly as it was before the explosion! That way, your players will still be afraid of Creepers, but your server will continue looking nice!
- Anti-Griefing features
- Natural healing of the terrain after an explosion
- Fully customisable
- Easy installation and configuration
- Now compatible with WG

Check your config files, I guess they changed directory locations. The same happened to me, Ive just configured it again.

Please try to see if it is not due to another plugin you installed (try turning on "custom" setting in your config, maybe). If that doesn't work, I'm going to need a little more details. Please open a ticket with details on how to reproduce the bug, the last known working version, and your config.

Posted Dec 1, 2013@nitnelave Turns out there is a metadata interface in the Bukkit API: http://jd.bukkit.org/rb/doxygen/d1/da6/namespaceorg_1_1bukkit_1_1metadata.html

If a block is not in the list, it is not affected by the explosion (might need some testing, but I think that's what happens). What reasons would you like for the explosion record event?

Posted Nov 18, 2013Hey nitnelave, The new events are great but I was wondering, with the explosion record event, if something isn't in the list, is it dropped as normal? Additionally on the heal event you have a reason, could the explosion record event have a reason as well?

You probably have another plugin with custom explosions. Try to enable the custom settings in your config, and if that doesn't work, try to find out which plugin has custom explosions, to see if there is a compatibility problem.

Posted Nov 9, 2013I have recently installed a plugin, and everything works fine, except for the explosions. No matter what I do explosions don't heal. Burns and mob greifing heals, but not explosions. What can I do to fix this?

No, there is no particular compatibility with the Griefprevention plugin.

I'm not sure there's a way to get all of the metadata. Do they register the field used somewhere? Is there a metadata object?
Another thing is that I worked hard to make CH Craftbukkit-independent, to only depend on Bukkit so it doesn't brutally break on updates, so I don't want another hackish way to do that.

Posted Oct 17, 2013Well, instead of storing only certain fields, wich could differ among mods, you could just store all the metadata information, so it gets rolled back exactly as it was

The problem is that every mod has its own way of handling metadata, its own fields, and I can't list them all. However, if you find an appropriate solution, I'd be willing to try to implement it, if I have time.

Posted Oct 16, 2013Hello, I'm using creeperheal on an MCPC server. It handles very good most mods blocks, because usually mods simply use different damage values to differ among block variations, but lately I installed immibis's microblocks mod. Microblocks all have the same ID, without a DV, but they differ eachother thanks to the metadata. The NBT structure of them includes the needed information to distinguish a wooden stripe from a cake plate, and so on. It appears creeperheal cannot regenerate them, because once exploded they don't come back with the heal. Is it fixable, so that creeperheal also takes count of the block metadata?

Read the Wiki, it has plenty of info on that. If after that you still have questions, feel free to re-post here.

Posted Oct 14, 2013Anyway you could put an option where the certain items dont get healed?
Or
Where containers wont be refilled?

It is probably because CH gets to the explosion before RTNT does. Tell the other dev that he needs to lower the precedence of his event if he wants to be compatible with CH. But honestly, what exactly do you want to achieve with both plugins at the same time?
@Crysillion
No, not yet, and probably not anytime soon. I *really* don't have time right now.

Posted Sep 18, 2013Hello, i just tested your plugin with another plugin, Realistic TNT which makes blocks fly from the source of explosion.
I found an error while using creeperheal, rather then the blocks fly out, the blocks explode as if a regular tnt explosion occured.

On my side, it works without problems with 1.6.2. Please open a ticket with your CH version, your bukkit version, the list of plugins on your server and your main config files for creeperheal.
