What is CreativeGates?
CreativeGates is a plugin that allows you to create teleportation gates without running a single command. The plugin does not impose design restrictions. Design the gate frame any way you like.
- Build a gate frame using any materials. It must however contain two emerald blocks (configurable).
- Name a clock with an anvil.
- Hit the inside of the frame with the clock
- Gates using the same clock name will connect to each other.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put CreativeGates.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- For advanced users only: Configure the MassiveCore aspects and multiverses using the commands.
- Modify /mstore/creativegates_mconf/instance.json to your liking.
- Modify /mstore/creativegates_conf@universe/instance.json to your liking.
- Configure permissions. CreativeGates only has two nodes.
Portal vs Water
CreativeGates can use either portal blocks or water blocks for portal content. You decide which to use in the "uconf".
For portal blocks to work without bugs you must open your server.properties and set allow-nether=false. This will disable the generation of the vanilla nether map and the vanilla nether portals. This is how we do it on MassiveCraft. You can add one, two or even three custom nether worlds using a world manager plugin later on.
For water blocks to work you don't need to do anything special. If you want the vanilla nether world and portals you probably want to change to water portals in the config. Otherwise players entering nether gates in the nether might exit through creative gates.

is it possible to forbid to simple player to destroy a gate ? I want to be the only one who can create gates on my server, and the only one who can destroy them (Not for the Emerald block, I changed this block needed).
I saw on some website a "creativegate.destroy", but it doesn't work.
Can someone help ? :) Thanks

Posted Aug 27, 2013So I'm making a new server and I want to teleport from the lobby to a creative world , I made a portal in the lobby and in the creative world, renamed the clock, it all worked until I stepped into the poral, I get the error: 'could not calculate the location: the world Creative1 does not exist on [Server ID]' . The 2 worlds do exest and are on the same network how do I fix this? I've made a multiverse and universe in the console with the commands but I probably did something wrong, any help?

If you don't want to be Tp in the Nether, set the Water : True. It works for me. (...\mstore\creativegates_uconf@default\instance.json)
I have now a question :
My server was a craftbukkit version 1.6.2 and the plugins (Mcore and CreativeGate) worked perfectly. But I change to a MCPC-Plus-1.6.2 (for modding) and now, the server could not connect the plugins ...
I try to reinstall both, but nothing worked.
This is the beginning of the error : "Could not load 'plugins\mcore.jar' in folder 'plugins' org.bukkit.plugin.InvalidPluginException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/server/v1_6_R2/PlayerInventory"
It is the same for the CreativeGate error : "Could not load 'plugins\CreativeGates.jar' in folder 'plugins' org.bukkit.plugin.UnknownDependencyException: mcore"
My java is update (v7).
Can someone help ? :)

It's bukkit. If you are in creative it will instantly teleport you to the nether. But if you are in survival it does'nt happen :)

Posted Aug 25, 2013I need to report a really big bug.
Its supposed that the gate needs to teleport you to the other gate destination,but when I enter it takes me to the nether and starts making nether portals in random places.
Till the point my game crashes and when you try to enter the server you need to login ,as you are in a nether portal you cant even type so I need to remove the authme plugin .

Posted Aug 23, 2013if you need the portal frame to be something else you can use the world edit plugin to manipulate the portal material as long as it's a material players can walkthrough

Posted Aug 22, 2013Hey I really love this plugin, but on my server the portal material is the same as the Nether portal, and sometimes I am sent to the nether instead of the other portal. I checked the config and there is no way to change the portal material type. I would prefer it to be water or lava though...
