Default weapons
For those who are curious about what CrackShot is capable of achieving, but squealed like a little girl upon viewing the complete list of modules, you're in luck. The plugin comes with 18 default weapons, so you can jump right into the action! ... a very small taste of the action.

Known issues
Minecraft visual bug: Projectiles that are launched at high velocities (>40) may follow a warped flight path. Generally, they will appear to either curve to the left or to the right. Do not be fooled though, as the projectiles will always be spot-on despite what you see!
Minecraft 1.9 bug: Players may hurt themselves if they shoot at an entity that is too close to them. Affects servers between 1.9 and 1.16.
Spigot 1.15 bug: Entities cannot be hit by multiple projectiles at the same time. Affects servers between 1.15 and 1.16.4.

Posted May 15, 2013Is there a way to make it so that you can pull the pin on the grenade and wait before throwing it (ie, hold right click and throw on release), so as to vary its time airborne before detonation? I'm trying to balance the fuse length on my grenades, and it would be a lot easier if I could allow players to control it.

Switch from landmines to booby traps.
Booby traps support dropped items, dispensers and pressure plates. You could wire dispensers filled with booby traps to tripwires, have pressure plate mines, or drop items that explode when picked up.
If you are going with item mines, remember that there is an option called "NoItemDespawn" that you can set to true to prevent the explosive drops from despawning. Check out the guide.

Kinda defeats the purpose of hiding a landmine if there's a giant minecart giving it away lol... I'd like users to be able to use tripwire string as the landmine device, so you really have to be sweeping for mines in order to notice it.

Posted May 14, 2013Is there a way for me to make grenades that put fire on the ground WITHOUT destroying blocks? I know there's a thing that lets them burn blocks they destroy, but I'd rather them not destroy any blocks, only set things on fire.

Came here to see about checking this out and read through every comment you've made. Your attitude is pretty terrible at helping people.
Either you pick fun at people with issues for your own amusement, you're a tryhard that has no involvement in the actual plugin trying to get on the Authors list/some form of mention, or you're fishing for likes on this website (that means diddly squat).
Either way, you may want to rethink how you say things so you come across as less of a total twit. People come here for help not disparagement, go back to 4chan for that stuff.

Posted May 12, 2013I'm having a bit of a problem on the last update.
I updated last night to the latest CS release (0.0901) and upon trying to retrieve a donor's kit I have had set up in the past, with Enchantment_To_check node, it just gives the item with the enchantment, never converts it.
Code:
Olympia: Item_Information: Enchantment_To_Check: THORNS-3 Item_Name: "&eOlympia" Item_Type: 104
Errors:
A melon seed will be spawned with /kit olympia [Gives 104 with thorns 3 enchantment] is given with the enchantment thorns 3, but is never converted to &eOlympia
However, /shot get olympia works fine.

[3] Make a ticket for the author to see and manage. Right now I just think you epic failed and forgot to negate the CRACKSHOT.USE.ALL node that is given to everyone by default.

Posted May 11, 2013I think I just found a bug.
Users aren't able to drop their weapon using the "Q" button, which is good, but people *can* drop their guns by opening their inventory, grabbing the gun, and then clicking off of the inventory GUI.
The melon stem is thrown on the ground and then other unauthorized users can pick it up.
In fact it seems when people pick up a thrown gun, they are able to use it even if they don't have the permission set to use it.

Posted May 9, 2013Also is there any kind of way of fixing the snowball curve bug? I looked at another plugin called PvpGunPlus and its similar to this one (Although this one is by far better ;D), and it seems that the snowballs there have the same speed on some guns but the snowballs do not curve, they go straight and in some cases when you shot at sky only then they curve a bit. Maybe to take a look at that and see how it works?
