How do I use CrackShot weapons with other plugins? (kits, arenas, shops, classes etc.)

Default weapons
For those who are curious about what CrackShot is capable of achieving, but squealed like a little girl upon viewing the complete list of modules, you're in luck. The plugin comes with 18 default weapons, so you can jump right into the action! ... a very small taste of the action.

Known issues
Minecraft visual bug: Projectiles that are launched at high velocities (>40) may follow a warped flight path. Generally, they will appear to either curve to the left or to the right. Do not be fooled though, as the projectiles will always be spot-on despite what you see!
Minecraft 1.9 bug: Players may hurt themselves if they shoot at an entity that is too close to them. Affects servers between 1.9 and 1.16.
Spigot 1.15 bug: Entities cannot be hit by multiple projectiles at the same time. Affects servers between 1.15 and 1.16.4.

Sounds like a configuration-related problem. Are you using the Projectile_Activation_Time node? If not, show me the configuration for that particular weapon, preferably with Pastebin.com, and I'll try to point out what you've done incorrectly.

Posted Sep 10, 2013Need Help! In my permissions plugins(I'm using PEX), there is no - crackshot.use.all but people can still use all the guns. I even added each guns individualy(crackshot.use.deagle) but no luck. Finally I chose to add the - -crackshot.use.all which supposedly negates the permission to my groups with no luck.. Help?

Posted Sep 10, 2013Thanks guy. It works, but I guess its like a SUPER low damage, bcuz I tested it with 80 damage and it kills them 1 hit. So it must work, but I guess I need to find the perfect damage. Thanks!:)

Find this under 'shooting' in your ak-47s config 'Projectile_Damage' the higher the value, the more damage it does, mine is set to 8
If that still dosnt work then another plugin is interfering with your mobs health

Posted Sep 10, 2013Also 'On_Impact_With_Anything: true' under explosions, dosnt appear to include mobs, when this flag is removed explosions only happen on impact with mobs but not terrain.
EDIT: Actually it only seems to not function when mobs are close by. like within a few blocks. hmmm

Posted Sep 9, 2013Can someone please help me out.. The guns from CrackShot is not doing the projectile damage to the mobs. For exmaple, I have the standard default AK-47 gun and I can shoot the same zombie over 60 times and still the zombie is not dead.. It is doing snowball damage or something.. How can I fix this please?

You could for example use StackableItems (plugin) to make it so guns can't be stacked.

Thank you for your prompt reply to this issue. I cant even begin to tell you how much this plugin rocks. Ive never configured a plugin that if you messed up somewhere in the config, it'd say whats wrong AND how to fix it when you reload xD that feature is just awesome, props man. If I could ask though, as part of our apocalypse we allow users to grief any part of the map and it regenerates using creeperheal shortly afterwards, and I noticed that you guys add the ability for the guns to break blocks, now is there a way to have it so that the broken blocks will also regenerate? like after a set time the damage done to all blocks regenerates? if not its no big deal, I could use a block logging plugin to undo the damage at a set time or something

That's an interesting problem, thank you for letting me know.
Stack-size will now be taken into account upon weapon reloads. For instance, reloading three weapons merged together will now require and consume three times as much ammunition. You will find this change in the next update.
As for a temporary workaround, I can only think to use items that cannot be stacked such as tools, armor and so forth.

Posted Sep 9, 2013Hey there, I own a server on one of the large server hubs, you may have heard of it, its kind of on the front page of PMC 'Biocraft' anyway I run the apocalypse server on there and I love this plugin, but could you add a config option so that it disables reloading stacked guns? or point out something that can disable this? basically if you reload stacked guns it reloads them all and only uses the ammo for one. so its almost an infinite ammo bug. not too big of a deal right now, but as we get more players on it this is going to be a problem.
