CommunityBridge
Updates are at our Spigot page.

Community Bridge links up your Minecraft player accounts to their corresponding website/forum/CMS accounts. It uses the web application's groups to assign players to permissions groups and stores various bits of information about the player in the forum's database.
Please use the issue system to submit bug reports, feature/enhancement requests and support requests.
UUIDs Most of the programming is done. Lots and lots and lots of testing to do, however.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- Which permissions plugin is in use.
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. It can be turned off specifically for CommunityBridge in CommunityBridge's config.yml. Before turning it off, please read my explanation of why you should leave it turned on: Why Plugin Metrics?

Posted Jul 15, 2013@iMasonite: No. Are you wanting to try the development builds?
@pimsserver: I wasn't aware of IPS Connect. At least for IPB, it'll make the authorization features easier to implement.
@PlaySteph310: Excellent. :)

Posted Jul 14, 2013About having this plugin work with multiple forums again; It's not really necessary, as at least IPB supports multiple forums itself. You might have to add support for IPS Connect though, I am not sure about that.
The other forums probably have the same kind of option.

Posted Jul 11, 2013@Feaelin Ahhh, that's great to hear!
In your 2.0.0 list I found the following thing: "Requirements" feature. Requiring avatar and minimum posts to be able to play."
Could you add a reward system with vault for this? That's better than requiring it, imo.
This system could be very nice in the feature, giving rewards for getting upvotes/best answers/we... :3
And, now I come to think about features, would it be possible to add options for multiple forums? I am going to link my server up with some other server via BungeeCord, however, as they will not merge, and everyone wants to keep their own site, it'd be nice to have it work for every one of them.
Also, do you have the source somewhere? I'd like to see whether I'd be able to help you out a bit (if you'd allow me, and if I can).

@pimsserver: I set a goal of releasing a Beta on Monday. Whether I make it depends on the next round of testing and my work duties. :)
@LeChuuck: That's doable. You'll need to submit an enhancement request so your request doesn't get lost. Click on Ticket/Tickets, then new issue and submit your request.

Posted Jul 11, 2013Hey
I thought that players groups only change if you use the command or when auto sync. However i see that when a player joins the server that group change msg, could you change it so it only does a check either with auto sync or /cbsync?

Posted Jul 11, 2013Hey, would you have any indication about when 2.0 (and after that 2.2, which I'm pretty much only interested in) will be released?

I'm using PEX, and after just reading your comment I figured I'd give the ranking system a try, however the admins are still able to /cbrank themselves to any rank they want.
But now I have this ranking system in-place it sounds like version 2.x will work fine for me as I can simply not give them access to the /cbrank command but instead get them to use the pex commands for promotions.

Posted Jul 9, 2013@RiotShielder: I'll need more information about your config. Submit a support request with your question and paste in the issue a copy of your config.yml with the database host, username and password removed. When you paste the config.yml in, put: ```yaml right before the paste, and ``` right after (those are 'backticks', usually on the same key as )

Posted Jul 8, 2013I am using Xenforo with CB v1.12.10, bPermissions, and 1.6.2 Spigot. Everything works, except if a user isn't registered on the forums, they have "null" as their group. However in the config, I set it to put group 1 (Unregistered and unconfirmed) as to assign to the default group.

Posted Jul 8, 2013@Pawned09: I assume your permissions system handles this in the way you'd want already? If so, 2.x (soon!) is likely what you want. The two way synchronization in 2.x makes the 'cbrank' command unnecessary, since if you promote a player on either side, it is updated on the next synchronization.
Which permissions system?

Posted Jul 7, 2013Would you be able to implement some sort of configurations or permissions for the /cbrank command?
Basically I have multiple levels of admin, and above that I have the owner (aka: OP) group.
I want my admins to be able to /cbrank players to any rank below the admin rank, and I also don't want admins to be able to rank themselves up.
OKB3 handled this nicely as you could setup the config in a way that players could not rank people/themselves to a rank above their own.
Could something similar be introduced into this plugin as it is the only feature I need that could further improve this great plugin for me.
Thanks for reading.

Posted Jul 6, 2013@Minecraftanatorz: CommunityBridge 1.x's group synchronization is "one way", that is, the forums groups are synchronized to the permissions system, but NOT vice versa. Two way synchronization is in CommunityBridge 2.x, a beta release of which will be out soonish. :)
@uLeikSponges: Okidoki. Thanks.
@Apecengo: Interestingly, when I sketched out the features for 2.x, I had it in my head that's what the requirements features did (kicked players that didn't meet the requirement), so in CommunityBridge 2.x, that's how they work. I need to fold (back) in a feature to place them in particular group if they don't meet the requirements.
@Gamerboy59: Maybe. Most likely yes. WBB4 is in beta, making claims about compatibility (either direction) would be premature as until there's a final release.
