CommunityBridge Logo

Community Bridge links up your Minecraft player accounts to their corresponding website/forum/CMS accounts. It uses the web application's groups to assign players to permissions groups and stores various bits of information about the player in the forum's database.

Please use the issue system to submit bug reports, feature/enhancement requests and support requests.

UUIDs Most of the programming is done. Lots and lots and lots of testing to do, however.

Features / Options

Slow down Griefers by requiring them to register with your website
Encourage players to be active in your website community
Synchronize permissions groups with your web application groups.
Record players statistical information in your web application's database
Only allow registered players to connect
Customizable messages
Require players to have an avatar on website to get access
Require players to have a specific number of forum posts to get access
Compatible with nearly any web application, forum or content management system (CMS). Known to work with: Boonex Dolphin, Invision Power Board (IPB), Joomla!, MyBB,phpBB, Simple Machines Forum (SMF), Vanilla Forum, vBulletin, Woltlab Burning Board (WBB), Wordpress, Xenforo.
Synchronizes groups with the following permissions systems: bPermissions, GroupManager, PermissionsBukkit, PermissionsEx.

Metrics

This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
Which permissions plugin is in use.
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version

Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. It can be turned off specifically for CommunityBridge in CommunityBridge's config.yml. Before turning it off, please read my explanation of why you should leave it turned on: Why Plugin Metrics?

Thank You Very much for this plugin it works very well and as explained. Though I have one question, if for example I use Buycraft to set ranks on the server (for example /pex group VIP user add (donor)). Will my forums (myBB) automatically use this new rank or will community bridge reset the user to the rank they have on the server. Also I have the donor ranks setup on community bridge correctly. @Nikoljan: Yes. There's no way for it to function without configuration. It announces that need in the console/log during startup...

i also see you don't have a phpbb in your "Servers Using CommunityBridge" you can feel free to add mine if you like,

The server IP must contain the www. because the domain points straight to the server, I haven't used a secondary hostname. :)

hmm how would I make a 'formatted' version is there a tutorial if not can you explain it to me and i will make a tutorial for everyone else...

all of the stats work fine as you can see here http://www.gamblecraft.co.uk/Forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2&sid=bc854ffabd6c504648331e1a2ce21658 apart from the gametime, It works on first login and logout but when trying to login for the second time that's when this error appears [SEVERE] [CommunityBridge] Error in LoadTrackingStats(): Inv alid value for getInt() - '3 minutes, 57 seconds' and CB disables its self.

@CraftyMcloving: Read the first two lines of your paste. In particular: "Broken Stat Tracking SQL Query, check your config.yml. Based on the error before that, I'd say you have put the same field name for both the unformatted and formatted version of one of the trackers. Double check your field names. Make sure the database columns for those fields are the correct.

hi there is a problem but no error on the console.. when i ban one person from the forum it kicks everyone from the server (myself included) and tells us we are banned but when i check the user/group management there is only one person in the 'banned' group.. I am using xampp to host my forum and phpbb software. all the latest versions.
