No, I need a way to write normal messages to specified channels. Not global broadcasts.

Posted Jun 4, 2012You just need to use whatever global broadcast command you have on your server, such as /say or /broadcast.

No, it prints text to the sender's chat. I want to say something on the global channels - not only for player who activated that sign.

\<message> sends a message. Please read the guide on how signs work.

I no longer use that file for updating. I use a file on my dropbox that updates much more frequently.

He forgot to change http://cloud.github.com/downloads/zonedabone/CommandSigns/version.txt
So that it says 1.7.3 and not 1.7.2. This is driving me insane everytime I log into my server, so a fix to that .txt would be wonderful. xD

Posted May 31, 2012Is there syntax for checking if a player is NOT part of a group/has a perm node, etc? for example,
1: NOT&has.node
2: $500
3: /pex user <name> add has.node
which would prevent people who already purchased the node from buying it again. Because this would be really super terrific. I thought -&has.node was the syntax at first, but I must have misread the instructions.
Amazing plugin btw, it's simple and SO useful!

Posted May 31, 2012Hi,
CS is always saying there's an update available 1.7.3, but 1.7.3 is installed.

Posted May 30, 2012Please make a option to write anything to the chat with binds on signs, press. plates etc.... I want to write something when I walk over the pressure plate.
And can you do anything with commands like "/g text" ("/g" is a shortcut for global channel in Herochat) - it says that the command doesnt exist.

That's an oversight. I'll get a fix out ASAP
@bk871
That's good.
@SirHaywire
That's a bug that I'm really working on, probably related to multi-world.

Posted May 28, 2012I couldn't find this in the comments or documentation, so apologies if you've covered this elsewhere. When I try to test for permissions nodes (an absence, actually), using ampersand (&) the sign interprets it as a color code. Is there a trick to getting it to behave?
-&entry.node comes out as -ntry.node
(with everything after the - in yellow). I've tried \&, /&, and && to no avail.
Thanks
EDIT: resolved (sort of) by changing the node to ingress.node - since &i isn't a color code. Still, I'm curious about the answer to making a literal ampersand in cmds

:3 My community didn't take it as bad as I thought, no worries.
We'll be moving to MineConomy anyways ;) Seems like a better maintained plugin IMO.

Posted May 27, 2012Not totally sure this has been posted, but everytime the server goes offline,whether restart or a crash, all signs are reset. You have an amazing plugin here, but this is really hindering it.

On the saving being fixed, AWESOME!
On the iCOnomy databases being messed up, I'm really sorry. (Although for future reference I recommend you move iConomy to a MySQL database)
I'll thread up the stuff and we'll try again.

Posted May 27, 2012Argf, CommandSigns appears to have KILLED iConomy, but correct me if I'm wrong. :/ Reset every single balance on the server. On the plus side, saving is fixed.

/cs is just short of /commandsigns or /cmds. I just use /cs because it's shorter.

It should work a bit better with loading, because of the delay I added to loading.

Blocker, you can also use the alias /cmds for all CommandSigns commands.
