How it works:

Install Vault
Install the Plugin. (Drop the coloredtablist.jar file into your /plugins folder)
Choose a Permissions Node named by the color.
Example: 'coloredtablist.blue' stands for blue :)
OR set 'UserPermissions' to false in the config and choose a color-code !scroll down!
Give a User (or a Group) the specifc Permissions Node.
OR give a Group the specific Color Code in the Config
Now when the User joins he automatically gets colored in the Playerlist (press Tab).

Commands:

You can use /ctl instead of /coloredtablist

/coloredtablist help = Shows a help Page with available Commands.
/coloredtablist reload = Reloads Config and Playerlist
/coloredtablist colors = View List of Color-Codes.
/coloredtablist nick <nickname> = Changes your Name in the Tablist until you reconnect or the Server reloads.

Config Commands:

/coloredtablist set usepermissions <true/false>
/coloredtablist set usechatnames <true/false>
/coloredtablist set prefix<1> <colors>
/coloredtablist set groups <group> <prefix/suffix> <value>

Configuration:

Version: 2.1.0

#Whether or not Permissions should be used instead of Groups:
UsePermissions: true

#Whether or not Displaynames should be used 
UseChatNames: false

#If it should update a player name every 15 seconds
UpdateEvery15Seconds: true

#Write the Groups in, like here. Use "" as Prefix to dont have one. You can use Colors in Prefix using & so &4 would be red.
Groups:
    Member:
           prefix: '&e'
           suffix: '[M]'
    Admin: 
           prefix: '&a'
           suffix: '[A]'

Use them in Config with "&" instead of "#" and as Fullname in Permissions

Known Bugs:

Max 14 Characters are shown in the Tablist, longer Names are shortened to 14 (Otherwise it would show an Error because 16 Characters is max. (and we are using Colors so its 16 -2 = 14 O.o)

every color is handled the same and beside that I don't have that problem on my test server :) please look threw your permissions it's very likely that you did something wrong.

Some colors do not work when set in permissions, for example coloredtablist.gold

I don't see the updated file o_O

Edit: if it's just 1.9.1 that you updated but forgot to update the filename, I tried that. Whatever code that may have been updated didn't fix the issue. When a player goes through a portal, their permissions change (because of per-world permissions), at which point I would want the user's name to be updated in the tab-list. Thanks for your work so far. If it is on entry to a new world (via Multiverse), that coloredtablist re-checks permissions, perhaps it's checking permissions too early (maybe GroupManager hasn't updated permissions on that entity yet)? Again, thanks for the work so far.

Hi, thanks for your donation :) I just uploaded ColoredTablist v1.9.2 which should update a players name after he changed the world. I hope thats the Multiverse support you needed.

I use permissions "mode" and I have a server with Multiverse and per-world permissions. In one world, I have it add a prefix to a user's name in the tab-list. In all the other worlds, I have prefixes off. It takes awhile to update when switching between worlds (unless I manually do `/coloredtablist reload`). Could you add some code in there to check if the user has had their permissions changed and update accordingly?

Also, good work. I sent you a donation. Hopefully that will speed up the process of getting Multiverse support added or at least having it reload itself periodically.

Hmmm Cool Thing But i didn't use it i wanted A Plugin That Says Like Words On the Tablist And Then the Players

would be good if this can EXTEND your tablist: if there is a server with only 10 slots, you use this plugin and it makes the tablist 60 or so slots

I had the same problem some times ago.

The problem was, that i have installed MChat. I switched to Herochat and everythings works fine. But i can be also another plugin that handles the tablist....

Thanks for the Plugin, im using 1.5.2-R0.1 and it works well. I'm using the /coloredtablist nick <nickname> command and it works well too, but the nick is away after restart. Can you add the option to save the Nick? That would be awesome. Greetings Ray

Some of my players name's when they don't speak for awhile turn white. How do i fix this? Or maybe a bug? Because as soon as the speak, their name gets colored again.
