Project Status Update - 6/20/12

New: First beta of Digilock has been made available.

I have posted the last version (3.6) which is intended to restore a functional DigiLock system for chests. Its has issue, many issues. Backpack inventory drag functionality creates ghost inventory items, Shift+Click works, but is at time unpredictable, I recommend disabling Backpack or use at your own risk. Doubledoor mechanics DO NOT WORK. Sort works fine, books functionality is as it was. Again, this is a very buggy updates so please dont ask for bugs to be fixed in this release. This is a last ditch effort to restore digilock functionality while we wait for the new Digilock plugin to be finished. Keep reading for details on why we chose to do this.

Books - This functionality has been removed and will not be re-added since Mojang is adding it to the core app.

Additional Comments: This has been a huge undertaking to re-code etc. I (dockter) have hired this out to a senior minecraft plugin developer. Please take that into consideration before filling up the comments section of this project screaming for an update to be completed. Rocologo ran out of his time to keep this up-to-date and I attempted to take it over and keep it current. With all the API changes in Spout and Bukkit I knew I was in over my head to keep a functional plugin working. That is why I decided to bring in a paid-developer to fix this properly once and for all. I personally have used this plugin since beta 1.7.3, it is a crucial part of my public Minecraft Server. There will be some additional details coming regarding both of these projects and I will update their new project pages once it becomes available to me.

If you read through the documentation you can find this

3.3 bukkitinventorytools.digilock.admin This allows the admin to unlock all doors and inventories. (other users DigiLock's)

hi is it possible (with the right permissions of course) to be allowed to open things without removing the lock ?

also when i want to remove a lock i need to use the command, the key L doesn't work it just says my fingerprint doen't match

Is there a way I can disable the CTRL + Right clicking for digilock because when a player on my server create one and lock it with a pincode other person can CTRL + Click on the same door (lever,button) and it opens like if they were the owner so they can see or even remove the password?

Only problem I have is that books wont stack properly at the moment but thats a minor issue. Everything else seems to work ok sofar with dev builds.

There's 1.0 compatible SpoutCraft clients if you allow dev builds. I'm running a live MC (Bukkit) server using dev builds of CraftBukkit and Spout and it works fine, more or less all plugs works just fine.

This plugin just keeps getting better and better as time goes on. ^^ Can't wait to use it, just waiting on CBRB and Spout release. =)

BIT is not an environment protection system like WorldGuard or Regios. I only protect specific blocks/items. So you will need WorldGuard or Regios to protect the full environment around the door.

Hi !

It is possible to implement a comment /bit reload or something like that.

Because sometimes i add directly new yml in the inventories folder it permit to not restart the server :)

ok i have iconomy 6, mysql, CB1337 and the latest non-dev build of spout and spoutcraft. i am getting this error when i load my server

error occurred while enabling bukkitinventorytools v3.0.5 (is it up to date?): de/keyle/mywolf/mywolfplugin

since i run your plugin on my testserver, the server crashed after some minutes

i changed the connection successfull to mysql and is use PEX, all stuff was working well, its an small 4 slot server with 1GB, no promblems until ill put this on.

its bukkit 1337 on this server and the last spout.

please add a prefix for mysql database for better strukture like "bit_"
