Posted Oct 26, 2014To those having trouble with numbers, be aware that it isn't the plugin. It's Java. Java has a built in method of detecting numbers. This is where the issue is occurring. Also make sure that you are using the most recent build. Tomorrow I will release 1.3.3 which will have some fixes and performance improvements for NPCs. It takes a lot to meet as many expectations as I can. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Nope, no punctuation used at all. i write 1 = not a number, 10 = not a number, it doesnt matter what i type

Posted Oct 26, 2014Id like to point out, anyone who is getting a "not a number" message, you must use whole numbers like 1, 2, 3, ect... you cannot use decimal number like 1.5, 1.75, 2.25, ect... you also cannot use commas, so for 1,000 you have to just do 1000. I have done a loy of testing with this plugin and have found many of the bugs that are in it. The "not a number" error is not a bug, but more of a number support issue. It is not easy when you are trying to support all forms of currency, some of which can have decimals, yet others can. He has done a lot of work on this plugin and isnt done yet. I look forward to the next update because i know he is going to keep meeting expectations.

I don't understand why it would not work. Deadlock says that the sign must say [private] you can also put this lock sign anywhere on the chest. It should not interfere at all with Better Shops. Also Better Shops has a built in chest lock so when non owners try to open the chest it opens the shop instead.

Are you using commas to make large numbers above 1000? If so that may be causing your problem. I am not sure if java accepts numbers with commas in them.
EDIT: I just tested this theory, and to set a number greater than 1k you have to use something like '1000' and not '1,000' java does not accept numbers with a ',' in them.
SECOND EDIT: I also just tried using decimals, the plugin currently does not support any decimal numbers, only whole numbers.

Only inconvenience would have been if you never responded. I do have several other ideas that i think would make this plugin the best shop plugin out there. Sadly i dont have the time to share them right now. But i will leave a ticket when i do have the chance.
