Posted Nov 28, 2014Here is a reason for why an update has taken so long. I've been waiting for Spigot to officially update to 1.8. This way I can easily update the plugin to 1.8. Today the first official build came out. This means that hopefully a beta build will come out soon. I have been working hard to finish this update, the largest update Better Shops has seen, as fast as possible. Thanks.

Posted Nov 26, 2014Sorry for the spam, I did hear from a friend who makes plugins that it is very easy to add World Guard features since World Guard has an easy to use API. Ah well I got a kind of solution for my server, it is annoying to use but it works. However having a world guard region and then having the flag: shop-allow would be a lot better (Almost all shop plugins use that flag and it is already in WorldGuard) Just see if you want to add it or not, would make my life a lot easier but if it's too difficulty then don't worry. Btw, I love your quick responses. Keep doing this great job mate !

Posted Nov 26, 2014That brings a big problem to my Server, I don't know how to only allow shops in certain regions. Would it be hard to add and how long would it take ? Otherwise nevermind, I'll just not allow player shops.

This is not currently possible. Better Shops does not have any special World Guard features at this time. However I may add some in the future if the demand is high.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been super busy this month. Development has come along rather smoothly given the circumstances. I expect a beta build to be out in the first week of December.

Posted Nov 26, 2014Hmm I have a problem, I wanted to only allow people to make shops in a certain region flagged with Worldguard (shop-allow) but I can't seem to find the option anywhere. Is this possible or does it need a whole new update before that works ?

Thank you very much for the kind words about this plugin! The emeralds were used as a currency in an external economy plugin (Gringotts). You would have to find an external plugin that uses diamonds for currency or use another economy plugin that has a currency.

Posted Nov 8, 2014I feel so stupid for asking that but honestly this plugin is amazing. I haven't seen any other plugin like this. Very good developer and everything is so easy and explained every details. This is one of those plugins that changes Minecraft for the better. Keep working man this is amazing. Btw in your video you bought an item with emeralds, is there a way to configure using a special item for 1 store (special event store where people can only buy with Diamonds for example).

Hold Shift (or whatever button you use for crouching) to place a sign on a chest. No plugins involved, it's a Minecraft feature.

Ah hmm, I place the sign infront of next to the chest and nothing happens but when I placed it above the chest it said: Must be attached to a chest (What plugin should I use for attaching signs to the chest?) Btw I still think the plugin is awesome, so much better than all those sign shops.

Yes it does, it is tested with the Spigot Protocol Hack and the last CraftBukkit build. If you cannot get it to work tell me what it says in the console and make sure that you are using Vault.
