What is BattleNight?
BattleNight is an organized PvP CraftBukkit plugin which makes the normal PvP experience a lot more enjoyable by adding configurable RPG like classes and a arena system. Some of the major features are:

Posted Dec 12, 2012Have same problem as jjjack, inventories won't save even if it set to "save". If you join a battle and either doing /b leave or game finishes and you get to the bn exit waypoint you lose your inventory before the game, people are complaining... and i really want to fix this. because if that works, it's PERFECT! Please help me out with this quick! (The arena is in anotherworld, i use multiverse but i guess it doesn't matter, playersd have same inventories in each world, so there is no special inventory for each world, so that should not be a problem jsut wanted to tell you if it may creates a conflict or something) Regards!

Posted Dec 11, 2012Apologize if this is already answered. I saw a feature request on this and it is closed, so I am hoping something has been added to the plugin for this....
The only problem we have with this plugin is when we get large groups of players on our server who wanted to play, it was hard to know who was on which team during battle.
Has something been added to indicate what team a player is on during battle?

Hey so under the config under inventory types if it is Save, when the match is open the players inventory clears or if it is Prompt, even if you have a cleared inv it says you need to clear your inventory.

BattleNight Rewards will be made after I have re coded the internals of BattleNight to add an API.
A similar feature to the one you have mentioned is planned but is also possible by using CommandSigns to run "/bn set <waypoint> <x> <y> <z> <world>" for the two spawn and spectator waypoints and then run "/bn announce Such and such arena selected". Just place these signs in the lobby so the players can choose which arena to play on. This is what I use at the moment on my server so if you want any help setting it up just ask.

Posted Dec 6, 2012Hi, in my battlenight config when I set inv type to save, people loose their items after completion of match. If I put it on prompt it says clear your inventory even if your inventory is already empty. Any ideas how to fix this?

I know I saw a comment with a bug where players could keep getting items or something. But If you could bring that back somehow,
here is what I was looking for simple enough:
A add-on that links with BattleNight, that would reward the winning team with random items that you can configure, maybe even a feature that links with the Iconomy plugin so it would reward the team money. ________
Also, a new feature to add to BattleNight, could be a sign type portal thing, like how you pick your classes, but you could teleport to different arenas, so there isn't just one.
Just a thought, great plugin, I use it on my server. :D

Posted Nov 26, 2012We are using this plugin on a 200 slot server, where is it always full. We have been using it for a while now, but people are having problems when they are in the Lobby, because on average 20 people are in each game, there is always one or two people who don't pick their class. This annoys the player, as it takes ages before the game actually starts. My suggestion is by adding a timer which starts when a certain number of players joins the game. When it ends, the people who haven't picked their class get kicked from the game and the game starts. Thanks, TMF - MinecraftUniverse

Posted Nov 25, 2012I've seen it where a player dies they will keep the gear from BattleNight. You have to do the following:
1. Join BattleNight game and select your class.
2. Start the match.
3. Die
4. Don't click Respawn
5. Restart server
6. Login
7. Click Respawn

Posted Nov 20, 2012LimeByte we got it working with your help. First, I turned off the Essentials disabling of PVP. Then I turned off the global pvp using worldguard. Then I turned on PVP in the battlenight area.

Posted Nov 20, 2012Yes, we have pvp enabled in the server.properties file. We also have worldguard so I'll look into making a pvp region. Just wondering - isn't the default for a region to allow pvp unless it's specifically denied?

Just another thought, is PvP enabled in the server.properties file? The event priority for Essentials is low so I don't think it is the problem.
