What is BattleNight?

BattleNight is an organized PvP CraftBukkit plugin which makes the normal PvP experience a lot more enjoyable by adding configurable RPG like classes and a arena system. Some of the major features are:

Easy to set up
Easy to use
Build your own Arenas!
Create your own classes!
Multiple Battle types (TDM, FFA)
Permissions (SuperPerms) or Op
State saving

Update checking (Can be disabled in config.yml)

How does it differ from similar plugins?

I aim to make BattleNight easy to use, easy to set-up and bug free while maintaining a constant addition of features. I spend time reading your comments, suggestions and bug reports to insure that it is best suited the majority of the community and is running seamlessly on your servers.

Just a suggestion but what about adding a way to have multiple arenas and when people join the arena is randomly picked between the different arenas.

when will the colors of the teams show up on there heads and is this ganna be implamented for pex also?

The permission system is superperms. What do you have the "usepermissions" setting set to in config.yml?

Does this work with Pex and superperms ? because when i try admin commands it says i don't have the permission for them x.x but my perms are working 100%, i'm op and admin so whats wrong ?

Is there a way that I can stop users from drinking potions before the game? Because I want some class's to get boosts from potions but don't know how to do it with out them being able to drink one class's potion and switching to another class... Giving them major power... If not can this function please be added to the plugin :D

Also the ability for enchanted items?

Hi! Great lovely plugin.

But i got a problem! i have Factions installed on my server. And it seems to that when 2 ppl from the same faction joins diff team they stilll can't kill eachtogether?

Yeah, I recommend Notepad++ (If your using Windows) for any YAML editing.

I solved the problem: the source was obviously the noob - me. I edited the classes.yml and broke it, by usings Notepad (i.e. Tabs) - So this is why you should use Notepad don't be stupid - don't use Tabs.

Hope I could help everyone, who had the same problem. Just create a new classes.yml and edit it properly.

Not too soon. I am going to try get another release out this week though which will include command blocking, fixed console commands and improved PVP override.
