NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

This plugin checks for new bukkit release versions which can be disabled in the BattleArena/config.yml

maybe you have a min. numbers of players set, so the game wont start unless you do forcestart or all the players join

Posted May 15, 2014Before I went to post a ticket, I thought I'd ask here:
Is anyone else having any troubles with the /ffa auto or other auto commands (BAS too) simply not working? I've tried on our live server as well as a fresh copy on my test bed and it's just not auto starting the match. When I force start, it works perfect.

1- No idea :P (if you got problems with factions pvp there is a fix for that)
2- yea, the option -> doCommands: (command)
3- yea it's compatible with Heroes (config: /plugins/BattleArena/otherPluginConfigs)

Combat tag generates problems... i don't use it so I can't help you (maybe later) but if you disable it the BA plugin will work fine.

2) Can i do some commands like /setblock with the plugin during the game stages or transitions?

And matchTime: infinite
(Check that option in the wiki)

You have a combatTAG issue, disable it and everyting should work just fine. (Or update the plugins)

The game is working fine in version 1.7.5 (my server version).
You could try to make new game modes when you update your server and add some more arenas :)
Don't update to 1.7.9 if you have the plugin citizens

I know what's your problem. Just add this to the default options for the arena...
- alwaysOpen
- individualWins
This makes the game NEVER to stop at wins or loses and to be joinable at any time. And if this works correctly the individuals wins should make the scores rated by BT. A big hug
(These are just the options, you have to think how to make the player lose when he dies, and win when he kills)

The wiki should be up soon, there were a couple of needed updates that had to be done but it should be back soon.
For those of you having problems, I will get to them as soon as I can when I get back. But, I am currently on a trip with very very spotty and slow internet. So unfortunately that means that it will be at least a week before I can make any real changes/fixes.
