NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

Admin permission isn't working for me either. :(
I removed all plugin files and tried to recreate from scratch. I have arena.admin but it gives me permission errors whenever I try to create a new arena or spleef or whatever.

In ''nteams'' set it to 8 and in ''teamsize'' set it to 1
This is done in both config.yml and BattleArena\competitions\ArenaConfig
This will unforunatelly affect al Arena Gametypes
If you created a new GameType make sure to follow the wiki instructions, in signs use

Other plugins compatibility is NOT a guaranty, also i don't think id is 'lighting' it should be something else, take the lighting rod and if you got essentials type /itemdb it 'should' give you the id, type that id into classes.yml if that doesn't work im sorry, don't use plugins items

Posted Apr 6, 2013alright so ive got a lot of problems with this mod. first i cant get it to allow more than one person in. i want to set up a game where its no teams everyone for them self, 8 players. it dosent matter how they spawn in. all at once or one at a time eithor way they will be held until there are 8 players by my redstone contraption. im using the arena gametype. i can not get it to let anyone in unless i have nteams set to 1+ i have 8 spawn positions set. nest what are wrspawnlocs. nest, what is "brokenarena" and another problem is i can not get signs to join in to work with the arenas name "hunger" only "arena" and that will prevent me in the future from having more than one game of the same type. if anyone can help at all please please. P.S. is there a way to take off the timelimit?

Posted Apr 6, 2013Im trying to Edit the items given for the classes, like another plugin Lightning Rods has different items and i tried just adding the ID name which was lightning, but nothing. Also addin another class doesnt work either, any idea how to add other items for the classes and/or why addind new classes doesnt work?

Posted Apr 6, 2013I don't think the permissions are working right. I've given all players arena.spleef.leave but they can't leave and arena.arena.leave Also, forcestart gives an error of no permission. Did I mess something up?

are you changing the index? you should be incrementing it for each individual spawn. That way if you have like 10 different spawns you can replace spawn #4 just by specifying 4 as the index.

do they have the option onStart.options: [pvpOn] ?? They definitely should be able to damage each other unless that option is missing and some other plugin is taking over damage.

Posted Apr 6, 2013I might be doing something wrong here, but for the timed events (I've tried deathmatch and ffa so far) once they start you cannot damage the players at all. The 1v1 arena works perfectly fine it's just the events I started. I have PvP on in all of those areas also.
Thoughts?

It is compatible with TagAPI, not sure if it's on his compatible plugins. I'll ask him to put it on.
It enables TagAPI automatically no tutorial.

pastebin me your custom event Config.yml. Should be able to help you.
But.. the current way should be make that config and put it in the "competitions" folder.

I believe this does work with tagAPI, I am using it with tagapi on my server and its fine. Works with spleef and paintball as well.

So you can change the default time inside the
BattleArena/config.yml
look for
defaultOptions: matchTime: 120or you can add matchTime into any of the game type configs.
