NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

- Give players "classes"
- Give or Take away Items and effects
- Duel other players in any of the match types

Posted Apr 5, 2013Hello! We talked yesterday, and great plugin! I just wanted to request prettier signs for the classes, (if it is simple to do) Also, is there a way to have animals spawn with the kit? And if so despawn at the end of the match? Thanks a ton! -Zoo

Thanks. And the problem is still occurring. People try and duel, but don't get teleported, and several amounts of time later, one of them is declared the winner because the other has gone offline.
Very strange.

Posted Apr 4, 2013I need up the WGNOENTER region again, and now players cannot use /warps even if they are not in the arena... wtf.. it says "cannot teleport while in arena" and im not even in the arena !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I relogged and everything.

Oh, good to know. Well BattleArena should prevent it if "blockBreakOff", and "blockPlaceOff", or you could set the peoples gamemode to AdventureMode in onStart.

I'll have to come on about the Waitroom, that shouldn't happen.
Your players should still have the option "blockBreakOff" in the onStart.options, otherwise yeah they can break.
Also I don't modify the build perms for the region, so you can always do "region flag ba-<arenaname> build deny

ALSO: I made a wgnoenter region! and when i did it made everyone who was playing an owner of the region so they could all DESTROY my MAP.

You can always add a waitroom back in :)
For stopping /back, you need to use world guard regions and the option "wgNoEnter"

Battle arena - Allows players to use /back after the arena is over (any way to stop this?) - I tried wgnoenter (or something) and made a region and then people could grief in my arena x.x

It already disables the friendly fire that Factions gives, as well as disables power loss. And you're right, probably should stay away from most other Factions options.

As for Factions, I have my entire mini-game/arena world listed as a non-faction world so it doesn't much matter to me, but if you're lookin for something to fill your time for future releases you could make it disable the friendly-fire protection that Factions gives.
If you're not familiar, Factions makes it so that you can't do PVP damage to people who are in your faction, or an allied faction, or a peaceful faction.
If you're planning on having integrated features with Factions then I'd say the friendly-fire issue is right up there with disabling power-loss, but as I mentioned before, people can declare an area to be a Factions WarZone which disables all friendly-fire protection... So there is already a work-around -- in fact I'd even go so far as to say that's a recommended procedure; better to control Factions by using features in Factions, rather than tying the BattleArena dev cycle in together with the Factions dev cycle.

3.8.4+ of BattleArena now has MobKills, It is uploaded to bukkit as of now.
I like :) fun, but probably a lot of work for me right now :( so probably won't be me that makes this.
BTW, I do disable Factions power loss, but if there are other factions things I should add send me a list!
