NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

- Store/restore items/experience/gamemode, or not (if you want them to bring their own gear)

Updating
This plugin checks for new bukkit release versions which can be disabled in the BattleArena/config.yml

Free for All's are by default a "JoinPhase", so you need to open up the join phase.
If you don't want that you should change the joinType: to a Queue

It rotates through the arenas you have made. So you need to have multiple ffa arenas built.

So now that you can just make your own custom types I took out espleef and epb.
You can essentially remake them just by adding the config file back in. Here is how

When i run a commando for an event for example /espleef auto, /ctf auto or /epb auto this event doesn't start and i receve this message: "That command does not exist! /<command> for help" otherwise commands of battlearena (/ffa auto or /dm auto) events works fine

Posted Mar 29, 2013@TommehRRR I do not believe per-class spawns are currently an option but for game joining signs just make something like this: [name of gametype of arena] [feature you want executed for those arenas] So an example with spleef: [spleef] join Do not put the brackets on the second line!

Also, How could i set a spawn point for each individual class? Say, snipers on top, assault on the bottom?

Posted Mar 28, 2013I think you may have forgotten to update the version number for 3.8.2.2. I was going to ask if it's possible to switch off the auto-downloading, but decided to check the config file first for such a feature, and lo, there it is. :-)

Hey, so tonight I'm going to check out the /<type> reload command. Seems like people are having serious issues with it. Until then just use normal /reloads or restarts.

I deleted all my arenas and everything and regened the folder yesterday to see if that was the problem but i still had to reload. now i cant even do that though.
