Backpacks
Backpacks
What is it?
Backpacks is a plugin that provides each player with a backpack in which they can store items. You can configure how much space each player's backpack has, as well as other aspects of the backpack, using permissions (see below). I have recently added SQL support that enables the backpacks to work cross-server if you use servers linked by bungeecord, lilypad etc. A recent addition to the plugin is that if a player with a backpack has a full inventory and they pickup an item, it goes into their backpack.
Permissions
backpack.1 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x1
backpack.2 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x2
backpack.3 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x3
backpack.4 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x4
backpack.5 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x5
backpack.6 Sets the backpack to the size: 9x6
backpack.keepOnDeath Allows players to bypass the config value for dropping items on death.
Commands
User Commands
/backpack Opens the backpack you have permission for!
Admin (OP) Commands
/backpack [Player name] Opens a player's backpack.
Configuration
Drop-On-Death
If this is set to true the content of the players backpack will drop on death. If the player had the permission 'backpack.keepOnDeath', this would not affect them.
Title
This is the title on the top of each backpack. On the example backpack it is "Your Backpack". You can set a title for each size of backpack (1 to 6).
DisabledWorlds
Here you can define the worlds in which players cannot open their backpacks incase you have, for example, a creative world.

I was looking for a backpack mod for my server today and I chose yours over this one. I think most other ppl will as well. This one is pretty lacking.

Have you not seen how many Chat, TNT, PVP, RPG, Banning, clones there are? It's going to happen. Also I would assume that if someone is using your Backpack plug-in, there would be no need to load this guy's plug-in - so naming wouldn't matter.
View it as competition, incentive to make yours better (which no offense to XenonRide, but yours is already more detailed than this.)
I wouldn't get to bent out-of-shape over this.

Posted Feb 12, 2013For consistency sake could at least be considerate enough to make sure that your jar files and commands are different from what we use in the Real backpack plugin.
Currently the commands and the naming convention of your entire plugin copies Backpack.
Thanks.

Posted Feb 12, 2013Hi I have found a bug with this plugin. If you put enchanted books or books obtained from the DarkMythos plugin into your backpack when you take them back out it changes them to written books.

What do you mean? If you mean copying one's backpack data to another, that can be done in config, if you mean will this update be incompatible with old config, no it will work just fine.

You can only have it in lines of 9. Its impossible to do for example just 1 slot. Sorry
