AntiCheat

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

AntiCheat development and support was discontinued September 7th, 2014. The previous page is archived here for reference purposes. Official downloads are still available for use as is the project source code. You must use these at your own risk as I can no longer vouch for their rate of success.

There's a "Reloaded" version of this project which has been updated for the newer versions and is under current development. You should give it a look if you're interested in continuing to use AntiCheat: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anticheatreloaded/

Thanks to everyone who has supported the AntiCheat project. Recently I have resigned my position as BukkitDev Team Lead and have decided to move on from Bukkit development. Unfortunately, this means that I will no longer be actively working on the AntiCheat source code, and as such I have decided to close the project.

Many thanks to JetBrains who have provided their IntelliJ IDE for development. Thanks to the many contributors to this project who's code helped do good in the community. Thanks to those of you who have provided your support in many different ways to the project: you know who you are, you made my life a lot better and I can't thank you enough for that. I am happy to say that this project has improved people's lives, and I couldn't have ever hoped to say more.

I repeat As soon as I installed this nobody could fly in the creative world. I removed it and they could fly again. Even my vips that I gave the fly permission to for the survival world still couldnt fly in creative.

When trying to fly in creative mode with my test account I could fly about 2 inches and just get pushed back to my original location

As soon as I remove this plugin everything works as it should.

As soon as I installed this nobody could fly in the creative world. I removed it and they could fly again. Did I over look something? Even my vips that I gave the fly permission to for the survival world still couldnt fly in creative.

So this blocks flying in creative mode too? I dont really want to give people the permission to use fly hacks when in survival. Nice plugin for a server with no other plugins.

Hello!

I'm using anti cheat on my server and it works great,

I just have one issue. I've installed World Portal: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/world-portal/

And whenever users enter a portal, they get kicked from the server for

"[Username] Tried to move too quickly." You've been kicked from the server for hacking. :-(

Just wondering if there is a work around to get these 2 plugins to work together. Thanks!

Hello, Just thought I would mention that your link up there where it says "Please check that you have the latest version of McMMO" the McMMO is linking to the last build of AntiCheat and I am thinking it should probably be linking to McMMO instead.

Stargate has a problem where if you use it for the first time after joining the server, you will become trapped in the walls around it and suffocate. I believe this is AntiCheat's problem because when I started using it, this started happening. I was using the latest dev 248.

Also when you VCLIP downward until it starts to check, it will literally throw you up into the air and disable ALL checks. Dev 1.3.4-b244

My last bug report is where you are running into a block, looking vertically, you can bypass the fly check and start flying. Dev 1.3.4-b244.

Until you fix these I am not using this plugin again.

Those are simply malicious modifications made to these perfectly legitimate plugins, I'm sure H31ix can elaborate on that. Check out the source if you must.

in creative mode it blocks users placing blocks at creative speed

possible to rework the block place / break events to prevent false warnings in creative mode

@marcus22uk: this is false... i had some trusted members on my server test this for me to no avail... i think because it IS an efficient anticheat plugin, they are using some cheap social engineering to get server owners to remove it... i would think u would have tested this before just removing..... are u in on these false claims as well??? o.O

...still, nodes dont work for me though lol, ops/admin get anti-spam blocked and i really dont want to disable the feature, im using craftbukkit R3-0, the latest anticheat, and latest permissionsBukkit :P ...ty much for this wonderfully efficient plugin :D

hi there. okay so i like your plugin. i use it. until i saw this guy on this website claiming he knows you and he gives commands that was of supposed to of told him that not protects your server but lets people grief to the extreme. i will post the link below this. post. i hope what this guy is saying is fake or false. because i will no longer be using this plugin.

The stuff that you guys send for zombe is really annoying. It dont want 3 blank line on my chat but I still want anitcheat to check for it, could you please make that possible?

for me it doesnt seem that nodes work with permissionsBukkit?? am i wrong? i use 30+ plugins on our server and nodes for all of them work so i dont think ive misused them.... i looked around and couldnt find anything about this issue... if it is one xD ..am i missing somthin here? basically i need to remove checks for op's/admin. ty much if anyone has any info on this :D

edit: other than this i have no issues at all...
