AntiCheat
AntiCheat development and support was discontinued September 7th, 2014. The previous page is archived here for reference purposes. Official downloads are still available for use as is the project source code. You must use these at your own risk as I can no longer vouch for their rate of success.
There's a "Reloaded" version of this project which has been updated for the newer versions and is under current development. You should give it a look if you're interested in continuing to use AntiCheat: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anticheatreloaded/
Thanks to everyone who has supported the AntiCheat project. Recently I have resigned my position as BukkitDev Team Lead and have decided to move on from Bukkit development. Unfortunately, this means that I will no longer be actively working on the AntiCheat source code, and as such I have decided to close the project.
Many thanks to JetBrains who have provided their IntelliJ IDE for development. Thanks to the many contributors to this project who's code helped do good in the community. Thanks to those of you who have provided your support in many different ways to the project: you know who you are, you made my life a lot better and I can't thank you enough for that. I am happy to say that this project has improved people's lives, and I couldn't have ever hoped to say more.

That's interesting, what version of AntiCheat are you using? The newer ones prevent saying something more than 3 times in a row.

cool thank you for the help, also may i ask, it seems as though more spam is getting past the antispam then before?
example+ config http://pastie.org/4164410
seems whenever they use the hacked client now it gets a large amount past anticheat before it kicks in, is there any way i can improve this on my end?

Sorry for spending days and days working on better solutions for you, so that the process is improved. I really do apologize.
@aphilosopher
So use ban, any command you put there will work (it's executed by the console). So if the mcbans command format is "ban player reason" you would put COMMAND[ban &player hacking] or something.

literaly with mcbans installed all you type is /ban *playername* *reason* so its like this example /ban joedirt cause he is way to dirty
sorta thing
how do i add this into anticheat if there is a way? if not then its alright if it is using minecrafts banning system so long as they are actualy banned xD havnt seen one come back yet so its must be ok. :D

Posted Jun 27, 2012Wow this is shitty. First we have to post bugs on github then i remake the tickets on bukkitdev. Then they get canceled because they aren't formatted. And now again another issue tracker and again issues posted for nothing.
and other then that your answering comments here like immediately. But tickets get answered way faster. If you want users to post tickets you should give the tickets first priority.

See previous comments. It's a bug we're aware of. Just disregard and hang tight.

See the config section, using BAN will only use minecraft's built-in ban system, not mcbans. If you want to use mcbans, you should use COMMAND[tempban &player reason] or whatever the mcbans command is.
Also, we are aware of the "ghost" player issue showing up in alerts. Disregard it for now; we're looking into the issue.

btw im using mcbans and when anticheat runs its autoban i do not see any ban notification from the mcbans plugin. as well when i use /lookup *playername* it says that i did not ban them (mcbans command)
could this be fixed? also it would be nice if i could add a reason onto the banning, so when it runs it will type the command /ban *player* AntiCheat detected high hack level
that sorta thing

hey i changed the config to ban when someone enters high hack level rather then kick, all i did was replace the word KICK with the word BAN
it seemed to work proper and banned someone when they did it,
but now i am getting warnings that they have entered the high hack level hours after they have been banned and are gone from the server, whats going on?
running anticheat 1.3.3

No, the players are not crouching. Now the stairs were made from half blocks, so maybe that's the issue?

That's essentially a hack. It modifies normal minecraft behavior to let you do things you can't normally do. It's not my job to say "oh all these hacked clients are bad but smart moving which allows you to essentially cheat is not bad, and we should make special exceptions for it."
