Like jkmalan said, it's a known issue, corrected in all the dev version since the 10/07.
I'm sorry that one of the feature have done so much problem ...

Completely agree with that. But I can't know all the bug, the bug tracker is there to help me to have a better view. For know I'm mostly correcting the bugs.
But some of them are just due because of miss configuration or miss use of some commands.

as explained here : http://wiki.admincmd.com/doku.php/features:special_permissions You can add the permission admincmd.spec.notprequest to the player (moderator/admin) that you don't want to have to ask the permission to TP.
For the group spawn system, I'm going to investigate.

Posted Jul 17, 2012Two questions:
1: Has anyone gotten group specific spawns to work using the latest dev build? I defined my groups in the config file with names that match the groups defined by my perms plugin. I also changed globalRespawnSetting to group, and distributed the appropriate admincmd.respawn.<group Name> perms to each group. They still all spawn at one central location when they do /spawn no matter what I try to do.
2: Has anybody successfully set up AdminCmd to force some groups of players to require permission to tp or tphere other players while allowing other groups to tp without asking first? I want my VIP players to need permission to tp or tphere, but my staff to be able to tp and tphere without needing a request to be sent. I've tried lots of things but have still not been able to achieve this.

First, if you aren't running a dev build, i suggest it, as a possible cause of this problem was correct/removed. If you already are running the most recent dev build, I suggest creating a ticket on the bigtracker. In this ticket, attach a copy of the server log from start to stop of the server. In addition, activate debug to true in the config.yml and start your server then stop it when the problem is a bit underway. Then attach a copy of the debug log.

Posted Jul 16, 2012Hello, I've recently noticed some worrying issues with admincmd and ram usage. When I do not have admincmd running, the bukkit process usually takes up around 3.8% percent of total system memory (16 gigs) upon startup, and will not change much until players begin to login. But when I have admincmd running, the bukkit process will steadily take up more and more ram as it goes on, this being without anyone logging in or anything of the sort. The server will start out using 3.8% percent, but within a minute it will have moved up to around 8%, and keep on moving up to around 20% or so at which point I just stop the server to prevent it from hogging memory. This only happens when I have admincmd activated, so i really hope that it can be fixed as I like this plugin alot, although unfortunately I cannot continue to use it with the current memory issues)

Good idea, commands that can be run on start. I suggest making a ticket on our bugtracker so the devs see it. Also, the translations may or may not all be up-to-date, I wouldn't know. If you manage to translate it better, by all means, send it to Balor.

Posted Jul 16, 2012Is it possible to give a player a specific kit on first join?
Or at least have them run commands on first join?
I don't want to have to have a sign somewhere urging them to do /kit new.
I would rather it happen automatically.
And great job guys! I love this plugin. It kicks the shit out of essentials. (Although it needs some better translating. :s)

I suggest updating your build first, its outdated. Second, i believe you have an incorrect ban entry in your banned.yml probably an ip from before ips were supported. Submit a ticket on the bugtracker and attach your banned.yml

The only chat related things admincmd controls are using prefix/suffix in admincmd messages, replacing the join/quit message, controlling death messages (in the dev build), and using color/format codes in chat or on signs. All of these can either be disabled by withholding a perms node or by disabling them in the config. Other than that, nothing else comes to mind...
Is there anything specific that you find trouble with?

Posted Jul 6, 2012Is there a permissions node for chat formatting/color? Or maybe an option to disable AdminCmd's functions with it altogether?
I use Chatmanager for chat formatting control, and I don't really want AdminCmd interfering with it. :s
(Right now I'm thinking that I'm probably wrong about AdminCmd's part in it at all.)
Also, how does one set what commands to NOT let AdminCmd force the other plugin to override?EDIT: Nevermind. Got the commands part figured out. But I'm still having issues with chat color. :/

The Dev build is always for the latest Bukkit builds, but AdminCmd is usually compatible with any build of Bukkit.

So far, I haven't had the problem, even with logblock, I get the required list of commands. It might be a plugin interference? Outdated logblock? Who knows :/
