Posted Feb 23, 2013the last updated was less than a month ago with no updates to bukkit since then how is that dormant? YOUR specific complaints have not been addressed but that is far from dormant.
90% of the "PROBLEMS" people have are that they do not read the instruction or pay any attention to the commands list. It's not the Dev's fault if you can't figure things out in a plugin that is well documented and explained.

Posted Feb 23, 2013If there isn't an update or at least a dev or really if I see any activity from the developers. Then after the next week I'm considering this plugin to be "dormant" cause all I want is bug fixes wat ever.

Posted Feb 23, 2013Loving this plugin, but I'd like to make a suggestion, I think it would be nice to not only have a Max players per arena/world setting but a minimum as well, this would do away with the config file min players setting and allow admins to set different size arenas on the same server, with very large differences in difficulty.

There are a few bugs still at large. We're just hangin on tight for an update! He did mention a while back one was due out in a few days (as in, a few days a few weeks ago), but hey - you cant rush these things! Developers work hard in their own time and usually volunteer too!
I've had a few bugs that would cripple fair gameplay on my server, so until the update is released i've just disabled the games. Ive still got the arena areas etc, but the .jar file is removed for now. Hopefully there will be an update soon!

Posted Feb 19, 2013I've run into an issue with Equipment/Inventory saving. It appears that if a player is wearing armor in game, and logs out, they come back with their out of ZS inventory, but they keep their ZS armor.
This also is an issue whenever you play that it deletes whatever you are wearing when you join.

Posted Feb 16, 2013I just wanna say, this plugin is wonderful and keep up the good work.
Here's a few issues I've run into that I'm curious if you have an easy solution for:
1) The last person to die in a round is haven't issues with respawning, so they have to log off to respawn. Could it be an issue with how I have the spectating set up?
2) If someone logs out while in game, they stay in the game area without being teleported to where they were when they /joined. Is it possible to force a /leave on them when a player in game logs out.
And now I'll be a naggy programmer and mention a few things I think could be added (which I'm sure is annoying and you've got enough on your plate as it is, still, food for thought):
Could you make the assigned classes per player in a Player text file? If this were in place, I could scan the file for a players points and set up a player specific (or faction specific) class system that levels up in the meta game. Players or all players in a faction would have incentive to continuously play. All I really need is a file with format:
PlayerName TopScore TotalScore Class
I think a lot of this is already in a file type that I can parse, but I couldn't find where the current class for that player is. I'll parse that file for player names, compare to the class file which will have a class of each player's name. Create a class when a player name is found in the player file, but not the class file. From there, just parse the player file to check for new scoring ranks, if a new 'rank' threshold is passed in the player's total score, a predefined (in another file) item can be added to the player's class. This could also work for current top score, have a top score (over all players) that starts them with a specific item in their class file. When the top player swap, it would parse the class file to remove the item from the former player and add it to the new top player. I use cron to run the scripts to do the parsing.

Posted Feb 15, 2013What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
Is there a way to be able to buy things outside of the zombies game {EX: in spawn} and bring it in-game without inv-clear?
Please provide any additional information below.
I would like to be able to have a shop, without using "classes" if I dont have to, so players can buy individual items then bring those items in game.

Posted Feb 14, 2013Hey all,
Just a few bugs to be aware of... if you make mistakes configuring a game, do not delete it and then re-create it with the same name.... It seems that the starting items are a multiple of how many times you've remade the same game. For example, I was unhappy with my map configuration and remade it, then I started with 2 wooden swords and 2 apples instead of one! To make sure it was a 'bug', I remade it again and sure enough I started with 3 swords and apples...
And another one... Im not sure if on a game join you are supposed to go to a 'waiting' spawn until there are enough players.... but when I join a game and I am waiting, I can still roam. What happens is if I go and put my items in my chest, and then 'leave' the game, my inventory is restored to how it was at the point of joining. For example, I have 10 diamonds in my hand. I join ZombieGame. Not enough players to start, so I 'wait'. I run to my house and put my diamonds in a chest. I leave ZombieGame. My 10 diamonds are restored and I check my chest and there are also 10 diamonds there too! This could be BAD! I have clear inventory on join true and have starting items set. I think the obvious fix here is to tp to the 'waiting' spawn as defined, to stop players depositing items to a chest! I dont know if it is a bug, but it is certainly a problem!
