The linking feature is done through redstone. It is already in the game and is easy to use, so I decided that was the best way to go.
Again, the power switch would just be linked up to redstone. It is a good idea, however, for signs to be powered, maybe I can add that in later.
Not sure how this third suggestion would be handled. The solution has to be simple, easy to set up, and easy to use.
I can try to add the fourth suggestion in later, it may turn out to be a good idea.

Hey! Great plug in so far!
Just a little things here and there I'd implement. First, You should add a linking feature, where, once a certain passage is bough, then the spawners start working in there.
Secondly, have a global power button and be able to link it to what ever passage/sign where, once it is toggled on, if the button was linked to a passage, it opens that passage. If the button is linked to a sign, you can now purchase from that sign.
Third: I made a replica map of Kino Der Toten, and the teleporter works a bit differently, There should be a way to name each telepad and link them in a 1 way path... what i mean is: Link mainframe, go to teleporter, teleport to the pack-a-punch room, timer then starts, once it hits 0, teleports you to mainframe. This would be an awesome feature!
One last feature is a redstone circuit sign. I have created turrets in my map, It would be cool to add a sign that has the price, and powers the turret for a given amount of time. Plus, you would have to link the button with the "power" switch so you have to turn the power on first.
Thanks for reading! Keep up the great work!

Awesome! Looks like you did what you wanted to! I am in the middle of testing and one thing I noticed is that the console no longer gives an error with custom items (from CrackShot). However, I have not tested anything with the plugin directly because I am still finishing my map first. I will try to test every feature and let you know of any bugs on the GitHub by this weekend.

Posted Oct 29, 2013Beta released just in time for Halloween!
Hey guys,
The Beta is now pending approval to be released to the world (you!). I am really excited for this, as it has taken me about a year to build up to. It is a whopping 290KB which is a great achievement. By the way, 290KB is just the size, that number has no effect on speed, just how much stuff you get!
Along with this launch though comes a few fears of mine. As Halloween came so soon, the plugin is likely to have a few little bugs here and there, due to my rush. I would like to just direct those of you that find bugs to the issues section of GitHub. I will get to those bugs immediately, and hopefully release an updated (fixed) version within the week of the bug report.
Thanks for all the support!

Yep, thanks. I almost have it hitting 50% of the time when it should haha. For some reason my line segments don't want to intersect...
EDIT: Got it hitting! (despite a few drawbacks for add-on creators (to be solved later)). Also, I fixed a major issue with the player not loading back old items when they leave and the server gets disabled.

Yeah, but I really need to get Ablockalypse running well. As soon as I do that I can take a break and work on something else, because right now this is just fixing small little hard-to-find bugs with math and stuff. I don't want anyone to think I will abandon the project though. Over the past year Ablockalypse has become one of my major accomplishments.

Better to do something well over a longer period of time rather than rush a project and have it turn out awful.

It's been my plan, but I am really working hard to get this through-wall hitting done properly. If I don't get that done by Halloween I have a backup plan, but it would be very laggy compared to my current attempt. I'll just say it's been a tough couple of weeks on the project.

Posted Oct 25, 2013Do you think you will have the next version out by Halloween? That would be great timing for a zombie plugin like this one.

They are already in the plugin. Just make a new sign:
line 1: [ZA]
line 2: [JOIN]
line 3: <game>
This should add the user to the game just like typing the actual command.

No, not really, it's all up to how long it takes me to fix the remaining problems, and how many new ones I find.

Posted Oct 4, 2013I would just like to thank everyone for over 10k downloads! It really is amazing that someone like me can create a great piece of work like Ablockalypse, and get the general public to like it as the 10k downloads shows.
I would also like to take this message to announce some of the new features in the upcoming update:
I really hope you guys enjoy these new updates, and as you can see there are many!

I will work on it, in the meanwhile, I really need this posted in the issues section of github. That really is the only place where issues are tracked.

Posted Sep 29, 2013I would use the Skype chat but this is just quicker for me to post here. Anyways, when I add custom items to the items.yml file, I get an error for item 263:1 which is charcoal. I also tried 2631 and got the same error so I assume I get an error since the item has ':1' after it. Is there any way around this? Also, the reason I tried to use 2631 was because that is how the plugin Crackshot reads that extra value. The error: 2013-09-29 21:06:27 [INFO] [Ablockalypse] Enabling Ablockalypse v1.2.9.2 2013-09-29 21:06:27 [SEVERE] Error occurred while enabling Ablockalypse v1.2.9.2 (Is it up to date?) java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "2631" at java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Unknown Source) at com.github.manager.ItemFileManager.<init>(ItemFileManager.java:36) at com.github.External.<init>(External.java:95) at com.github.Ablockalypse.onEnable(Ablockalypse.java:142) at org.bukkit.plugin.java.JavaPlugin.setEnabled(JavaPlugin.java:217) at org.bukkit.plugin.java.JavaPluginLoader.enablePlugin(JavaPluginLoader.java:457) at org.bukkit.plugin.SimplePluginManager.enablePlugin(SimplePluginManager.java:381) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_6_R2.CraftServer.loadPlugin(CraftServer.java:282) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.v1_6_R2.CraftServer.enablePlugins(CraftServer.java:264) at net.minecraft.server.v1_6_R2.MinecraftServer.l(MinecraftServer.java:313) at net.minecraft.server.v1_6_R2.MinecraftServer.f(MinecraftServer.java:290) at net.minecraft.server.v1_6_R2.MinecraftServer.a(MinecraftServer.java:250) at net.minecraft.server.v1_6_R2.DedicatedServer.init(DedicatedServer.java:151) at net.minecraft.server.v1_6_R2.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:391) at net.minecraft.server.v1_6_R2.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:582)
