XpThirst is a plugin adding another basic need that you need to take care of: thirst. This will use the xp bar as a thirst bar which will deplete over time. All the timing and amount is configurable.

It works in any world, but doesn't sync with world-specific inventories.

Im not using any external plugin manager unless PluginMetrics counts as one its slef, in that case, ive never touched it

Do you have an external plugin manager disabling it? It is written to only copy the config over if it is enabled. In the built in config it is enabled on default and cannot disable itself. Try looking for something that handles plugins or if you are using a bukkit GUI make sure you enabled it.

You don't, this plugin's main purpose is just to enhance servers that have things like zombie survival and don't quite work with some game aspects.

Sorry for not responding immediately, I was on vacation and swamped with emails hiding the notice.
Do you mean the original starting thirst level, please elaborate on the issue.
School has just started and I may be taken by homework, but I may be able to release a new patch/version over the weekend. If you have any other additions or fixes feel free to tell me and I can get them in as soon as possible.
