WorldGuard Block Restricter

Description

WorldGuard Block Restricter adds two (six) flags to WorldGuard regions:

deny-blocks: a list of blocks that are not allowed to be placed or destroyed in this region
allow-blocks: a list of blocks that are allowed to be placed and destroyed (overwrites deny-blocks)
from 2.0 on these flags will be available too:
- deny-place: only deny placing the specified blocks, but not breaking them
- allow-place: overwrite blocks specified by "deny-place"
- deny-break: only deny breaking the specified blocks, but not placing them
- allow-break: overwrite blocks specified by "deny-break"

It requires WorldGuard Custom Flags.

Usage

Simply use these flag as any other WorldGuard flag:

/region flag restriction deny-blocks obsidian, cobblestone

You can also use "any" to block any block placement/destruction. This is usefull for whitelisting, because allow-blocks will overwrite this.

/region flag only-dirt deny-blocks any
/region flag only-dirt allow-blocks dirt

From version 1.7 on you can also use block/item ids.

wgblockrestricter.ignore:
- allows players to ignore block restrictions

Players still get

First off, wanted to say thanks for the entire WG Custom Flag family of plugins, they are TOTAL life savers!

Second, I'd like to offer a bit of help to people trying to find the item names recognized by this flag! Just have it in the region you want to allow/deny it before you add the flags, then add the flag deny-blocks any, and try to break it when you're not OP. It'll give you an error... that contains the block name. :D

Was just getting ready to ask how to find the recognized block names, when I stumbled across this method. Hope it helps someone!

It seems that without the Build flag from WorldGuard, the allow-blocks feature doesn't work. Using latest version on MC 1.6.1

/rg info Region: snowfallpumpkin, type: cuboid, Priority: 2 Flags: use: ALLOW, mob-spawning: ALLOW, allow-blocks: [PUMPKIN]

/rg info Region: snowfallsnow_block, type: cuboid, Priority: 3 Flags: use: ALLOW, mob-spawning: ALLOW, allow-blocks: [SNOW_BLOCK]

With these, people cannot place pumpkin blocks on top of snow blocks. But with worldguard's build allow they can place any block, which defeats the point of only allowing pumpkins.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi im making runescape and i have World guard region saved the Whole place and did build deny so now i want them in the mine to only be able to destroy like mining stuff etc... coal ore dimaond ore,.... and to destroy tress what is the command to that!? Can you put a list of how blocks are imputed I tried Stonebrick in many different ways, but none work. Can you tell me what stonebrick is "imputed as" in your plugin?

WG Use Flags. When finished, would it help me when i want to deny the use of weapons in a region?

As a minecart is not a block it is not affected by this plugin. You will have to wait for me to release the WG Use Flags which will also allow you to block minecarts.

Nice plugin, but It doesn't make minecart id 328 allowed it says

Unknown value 'minecart' in blablabla..
