World Portal
Create portals using signs, pressureplates, buttons and more!!
World Portal is a really useful and simple to use plugin to make portals in your server. Players could use the portals to teleport to another location or even to another world. This is also really useful when you have a large server so players could go to other places them self really easy. With World Portal you could even generate and teleport to other worlds, very smoothly with no problems. You could make portals using, buttons, pressure plates, switches and even more. World Portal is the ultimate solution for portals, and even for multi world management.

Upcomming Features
- Mark a place and give it a name so you could easily link portals to it.
- Payment system for the portals so the user needs to pay to go through the portal (optional for every portal!)
- Easily link two portals to each other
- Add a optional delay to the portals to teleport after 3 secconds for example.
- Command to create a new world.
- Create portals of detector rails, so players could be teleported when they are riding in a minecart on a track.
- The optional ability to show a message in the world where the player was teleported to that that player has joined that world.
- The optional option that mobs could teleport through portals (using pressureplates for example)

Download
You could download the plugin using the download link on the top-right above the sidebar of this page. Please use the official download links on that page you'll be redirected too and not the bukkit file hosting service.
Installation
- Download the plugin
- Add the WorldPortal.jar file and the folder 'World Portal' from the downloaded .zip file to the /plugin folder of the minecraft server. Also add the files inside the World Portal folder to the plugins/World Portal folder.
- Add the permission lines if you have a permissions system; (Look at the permissions paragraph underneeth)
- Start your server, and create your portals!

Posted Oct 12, 2012Some of the users of the server I manager says me that the portals does not run properly with the update i have done (Oct 3 2012). I need to put in the MCMyAdmin schedule a command repeating every 1 minute with /wp reload.
Please fix that issue :(

No it isn't sorry. It will be the update after this one. (it's an update to fix some issues with the previous download, becuase with the previous download the bukkit administrators removed the config files, that broke the download. Now this version will auto generate the config files again, to fix the issue.)

Not yet, I'm very sorry for this. It's a build in minecraft feature. The problem is that teleporting a player doesn't really teleport a player, it just moves the player very fast to it's destination point. Because of this the server thinks you're moving too fast, and you can't disable it. This will cause the problem. I wrote fixes for it but every new minecraft version I need to change my fix, and right now I don't even know HOW to fix it again :(
I really hope I could fix this problem later one. There's one thing I know, if you put the pressureplate in a 1 depth hole it should work! Another thing I know is that it (probably) only shows up this message when you're in creative mode. And the last thing is that it only happends with pressureplates.

Posted Oct 9, 2012When I try to use my portal (I set it as pressure plate) I end up getting an error on my cmd that says "(USER) moved to quickly!" and would not allow me to teleport. Any solution to this problem?

A new version has been released. This isn't the final version already, but it contains some minor bug fixes. It also has an updated PermissionsEx and CraftBukkit API.
The most important thing in this update is that it will finally generate the default config files if they aren't available. This will fix the problem that almost everyone had with the download.
It will take a while before the download is available on dev.bukkit.org because the administrators have to validate the file. Please download World Portal from my own website now: http:www.timvisee.com/projects/bukkit/world-portal/downloads/

You've to copy both the .jar and the folder into your .zip folder and it should work again.

World Portal will print instructions in the chat. That will explain what to do.
Just type the world name, afther that for example 'spawn' and type '0' as looking direction.

Yes I know, I'm very sad about it/ I'm hardly trying to fix it though. About the pressureplates, this problem only happends when the player is in creative mode, just a quick note.. I hope I could release the final version soon with all of it's epic features!

Yes you are right but you need an account, for example you could use your Facebook account. Instead dropbox and all these other services are registration-free, so you don't need to register any account, witch is better.
But you don't have to update the video again haha, I saw the video.

Yes I'll do that next time. Anyway, I just suggest you to update World Portal with every update I make. Just because I'm not going to release a file again if there was a single typo on any file. Cause it costs me A LOT of time to release one file (I've to update 4 pages, and all of them have different styling codes, which costs me about 1 and a half our most of the times.)
