This plugin is used worldwide. For that reason, I made it possible switch easily between languages directly in the configuration of the plugin (see "How to use"). If your language is not available, you can translate it on this website and I will add your own work to the next release of WR!

- Thanks a lot to Wmisiedjan, the creator of the plugin. He left the project more than a year ago, and since that moment, I'm the developer of the plugin. Posted Mar 18, 2013I found a large bug involving craftbook and this plugin. It's piston related, not sure what, but here's a schematic (worldedit) with the "server crasher". When made without Wireless Redstone, this works fine.

Yes, it's intended :)
Currently, you can only allow people to place signs, or not, but you can't restrict the amount of signs they can place. I would be complicated to add it because the plugin doesn't remember who placed any sign. Also, it would a lot of CPU to implement it,
About WorldEdit, it's the most important plugin which I need to add a compatibility. I just don't exactly know how to do it, but I'm sure it's possible.

Posted Mar 17, 2013I would love to see WorldEdit compatibility (which i do see in your list of intended future supported plugins).
Also, it crosses from the over-world into the nether and the end and vice-versa (not sure if that's intended).
Great plugin though, i'm a heavy redstoner and have about 150 channels by myself, i would request that if you did intend to add limits to the amount of signs each player can have, please keep in mind that it would be nice to have a different limit for each rank on servers (I'm just starting on creating plugins and I'm not sure how interoperability of plugins work)

I am using SQL and all of the converted channels work so far that I have tested. The Channels.db file is 630KB, and the config file is empty of channels.

Okay, I have a few questions then. Do the channels work after the conversion? Do you use SQL or YAML Storage? (set in the config) Can you confirm that there isn't any channel in the file config.yml? If you use SQL, there must be a file channels.db in the channels/ folder, can you tell me how much it weights? If you use YAML, there must be a file for each channel in the channels/ folder, can you tell me if there is one unique file for each channel? And how much the channels folder weights?

Well, I got everything converted, put the plugin back on my live server and the ram usage was bumped way up. I took it off, put it back on, and it was a 700MB or so difference. The conversion wasn't the smoothest. I may try converting it again..

What do you mean? Is there a possibility to know how much ram a plugin uses? I know that Wireless Redstone can use more ram than other simple plugins, but 700 MB of ram, it's a lot. Could you tell me how did you learn that, I could make some tests.

if u name a transmitter/receiver only with numbers (eg. "123"), u become such error, pls fix it ;-D in this error the shieldname was "1"

Wow. I never expected you to fix his plugin. I just thought it would be good to know a likely source for the commonly reported issue. Thanks for going beyond the call of duty.

Well the only thing I can tell you is that I can't do anything at the moment. I tried to fix the bug but it's hard because his repository is not very easy to configure and I can't do anything without breaking the installation. The only thing I would recommend is to change the plugin you're using for backupin your server.
