WikiAccessor
Have you ever wanted to be able to access the minecraft wiki easily from in-game? Would you like to add functionality to your minecraft server that makes the wiki easy to access? WikiAccessor solves this problem. WikiAccessor's intended use is to make access to certain wiki pages very easily. It will only give you links to wiki pages and that is it.
The command is /wiki: If you type /wiki by itself, then you are sent a link to the Minecraft Wiki Homepage. If you type /wiki (something) then you will be sent a link to the Minecraft Wiki page that you specified. If you requested a page that does not exist, then you will be sent an in-game error message.
As of current, this is all the functionality of the WikiAccessor. It is not something designed to be complex, just fast access. Later, I would like to implement a way that makes it so that when you type this command, the client will automatically open a web-browser to the appropriate page.

Posted Jul 25, 2013Hey guys. So recently I have not been playing Minecraft. Busy with college, real life, etc. I guess I will make WikiAccessor v2.0 as long as I get enough interest. So post some comments, like it, and show it to friends. If I get enough interest then I will make a 2.0. But as of right now, it does what I originally intended and I will make it an official release soon.

Major features: Automatic searching for recipes. type /howto "something" and it will return the ingredients for the item that you want to craft.

Posted Dec 4, 2012I would love an auto response in game to a basic question that goes something like
How do {I/You/U} {make/craft} {item/entity/block}
Then the plugin checks to see if {item/entity/block} is a craft-able item. It could check to see if
htphttp://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/{Input}#Crafting exists, then spit out either ingredients or a recipe.
{Input} is craft-able. To craft {Input} {A} {B} {C} {D} {E} {F} {G} {H} {I}
and so forth.

Posted Nov 21, 2012useful for noobs :P Don't know how to craft an furnace? just do /wiki furnace and it gives you a link to minecraftwiki.net and look for the crafting recipe :D Thanks FlaggolMC :D (hes moderator on meh server, lol :p)

Posted Nov 19, 2012I just uploaded version 1.0.2. Don't know when it will be approved, but you should have access to it pretty soon (within the next couple of days). What was updated: I added a thread for the plugin so that it no longer hangs the server when you give a command.

------------YAY!!! Early release for WikiAccessor v1.0.2. It should have fixed the thread problem... however I dont have a server with a lot of plugins to test it with under pressure... So I have no idea how it will work. (It should be approved in the next few days)-

Posted Nov 6, 2012I would like to ask you all to not download this plugin any more until I get the next update in which I plan to release November 7, 2012. I figured out that the plugin (as of right now) uses the server's main thread to do all its work. Therefore, the server hangs until it can get the address, and then the server returns to its own thread. Unfortunately, it can hang for up to around 5 seconds to get the address.
So please wait, and the unexpected v1.0.2 will be released soon. Then I will start working on v2.0.0

Posted Nov 3, 2012For all of you who are wondering, WikiAccessor v1.0.1 should be compatible with MC 1.4.2 if it is not, let me know and I will see if I can fix it in the next update. Until a substantial amount of issues arrive however, I am not going to do anymore updates. Once it becomes a fully-fledged plugin, I will make it "Final" stage.
