WhoPlaced?
WhoPlaced is a simple plugin that logs block placing and breaking.
This is my first plugin as I have just started learning the Bukkit API and I wanted to get started right away.
In this plugin, whenever someone places and destroys a block, it gets logged in the Consile and server.log. As I progress on this project, I have had some ideas of what I can add to this plugin. Feel free to suggest yours in a ticket!
UPDATE 10/31/12 My house had a power surge from hurricane Sandy. As soon as my power is back, I will get back to expanding this plugin, as suggested on my poll. Sorry for any inconvenience, and Happy Halloween!
UPDATE 11/4/12 Just letting people know that there WILL be a semi-working config file in the next update. I still don't have internet, still writing this from a mobile phone, and I only got 0.3 out because I was visiting my friend who has internet. Sorry, again.
UPDATE 11/5/12 My wifi is planned to return tomorrow. Be prepared... :D
To Do
- Block Filtering (only log certain blocks)
- Area Block Filtering (can select an area with WorldEdit, then say "/whoplaced filter (block) off" and the specified block cannot be placed in the selection)
- Grief-Protection Abilities (be able to protect your house like a "No-Enemy Factions" plugin)
- Rollbacks (select area with WorldEdit and rollback)
- MySQL compatibility (optional, will still keep log compatibility)

Posted Dec 19, 2012Can you please add a wand, EX: if i take out a stick and right click a block it will say who did it. Because really what you have so far only helps if you have the plugin while you are griefed and would add lag to my server log. But you have a very good start better than me.
