Simple Welcome
- Simple Welcome
- This plugin was created for people who do not want to type long welcome messages, for the new people that join your server! You can enter a simple command and the player's name, and it sends the message. All messages are fully configurable.
- Commands
- /w reload - Reloads the config.
- /w(1-5) (player) - Configurable, welcome commands.
- Example Command
- /w2 newplayername
- Permissions
- simple.message - gives access to all /w(1-5) commands
- simple.admin - gives access to /w reload

- Example Config
- #This is the welcome for /w1
- welcome1:
- - '%sender% has welcomed %player%'
- #This is the welcome for /w2
- welcome2:
- - '%sender% has welcomed %player%'
- etc...
'&' work in the config, it is used to add colors.

Posted Jun 1, 2016Any pan on updating this plugin? I used it with up to 1.8 but 1.9 broke (getting could not pass event PlayerJoinEvent errors) Long time fan of this plugin, even though it's "old", like I say, it worked perfectly fine till 1.9.. Hope ya update it ;)

Posted Mar 31, 2013Just to mention. In the simple welcome v1.The reload command is /sw reload. But in v2 which is being approved, it has the commands on the project description.

Why would he need to add a welcome message to it? There are plugins that do that already and are surely compatible.

Posted Mar 30, 2013hi i would download this plugin if you added a welcome message to a new player, and if there was a command that players could do like /info or something and it would come up with writing in the chat (which you can choose what the writing says in the config.yml) so if you were looking on ways to improve this plugin i think that would be a good way :)
