Whenever a player joins your server, It will display a welcome message for them where the EnderDragon bar is.This uses the BarAPI, available here... http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/bar-api/
A custom welcome message is now an available feature. Also includes the standard Bukkit Color and Formatting codes in the config.

Config Replacement Variables
*%name - Gets players name*%online - Gets online player count.
*%max - Gets max player count.
*Let me know what others you want :)
Commands
* /WelcomeBar reload - Reloads the config.Permissions

It works with the current bukkit version, just because it says its for 1.6.2 it still works for 1.7.2+

Posted Sep 21, 2013Would it be possible to make an announcement system using the BarAPI? For example, maybe every 10 minutes, the bar will show up with a message for 60 seconds, then disappear until the next message. Just an idea.

It looks as if Spigot is interfering with BarAPI. Try using bukkit instead. Anybody else have this problem?
