WaterMonster

Ever think that the sees, oceans and lakes need a little more to them? This plugin make them a little more dangerous by adding a "creature" that lives in the ocean and kills everything it sees! There is only one monster per server which spawns whenever a player gets into the water. The monster will approach and damage the player until one or the other dies (yes, it is killable). Upon death, the monster will wait a configurable period of time and then respawn next to another player in the water.
Commands
- /watermonster (alias: /wm)
- /watermonster kill - Kills the current monster and starts its respawn timer
- /watermonster togglespawning - Toggle the monsters spawning. If disable, the monster will not spawn
- /watermonster reloadconfig - Reloads the config
Permissions
- watermonster.control - Access to the /watermonster commands
Configuration
- health - the monsters health. (Swords deal as much damage as for regular mobs)
- respawn-time - the time it takes for a monster to respawn (in seconds)
- damage - damage dealt by monster per hit (2 = one heart)
- message - the message to be sent to the player when hit monster. Use {damage} for that damage dealt value and {health} for the current monsters health

Posted Jul 25, 2014Great plugin. I would love to use it, unfortunately it has a conflict with - I imagine - The Citizens 2 plugin. It constantly spams the console with warnings that "[ParticleEffect] Failed to send a particle packet to.." and then the name of each Citizens 2 NPC. As I have about 100 NPCs, it makes the plugin unusable due to server lag (plus 100 lines of warnings a second). Do you know any workaround? Server is CB 1.7.10 with the latest nightly of Citizens 2.

Spawns fine on my test server. Keep in mind that you have to enter the water for it to spawn

I made the image for the title. And I didn't use slimes, only particles ;)
