SOLUTION:

If you are using towny, give them the towny.cheat.bypass permission.

For some reason this plugin seems to not let players climb on my server. Something must be clashing but I'm not sure what.. I'm trying to figure it out. They climb up two blocks and get glitched/tp'd back to the ground.

Really awesome plugin, I'd donate if I had a bank account, but can you make it possible to configure climbable blocks? Also, I've discovered that you can't climb on stairs.

Perhaps a limit for how far a player can climb?

Nice plugin. It's smooth and doesn't need the bloat of something like Spout (though I am a Spout fan it nice when it's not NEEDED).

Is there any way to make it so that an admin can set in the config what block a player can and can't climb? This can be universal (i.e.: setting a list of blocks and those are that blocks ALL player with permission can climb) or if your feeling adventurous maybe you could make it so that admins can crate groups of block that players can climb kinda like 'classes' of climbers? By this I mean what blocks are climbable be configurable then give a permission to a player so they can climb only those block types. Say I want a 'basic' one that can only climb 'easily' climbable surfaces and a 'ranger' to only be able to climb natural surfaces, it would look something like this in the config:

basic:
    - 4           #cobble stone
    - 5           #wooden planks
    - 98         #stone brick
    - 112       #nether brick
ranger:
    - 1
    - 2
    - 3
    - 4
    - 12
    - 13
    - 14
etc...

Then you give the player a permission node like wallclimber.type.<class_name>
