VotePoints plugin makes the time you spend for voting worth something.
If you have Votifier, Vault and a permission plugin installed, you can use VotePoints to give your players the ability to buy various permissions, skills and items.
Thanks to Gravity's Updater class, the plugin now supports in-game or via the console updating! No need for you to check the dev.bukkit page anymore!

Installing
- If you haven't already, install Votifier.
- Place the VotePoints.jar file in your plugins folder
- Start/Restart the server. At this point, the plugin should generate a few folders which will hold player & shop related data.

soo i found some "bugs"
1. ./vp show << Laags (dont know why..?)
2. VERY Important with the perm vp the users can /vp bind (spam and spam...) and can so totally slow down the whole server!
3. The Permission: /vote shop , wont work... i negate this but it is not negate... - -vp.shop
3. Pleasseeee fix this :D this Plugin is sooooo nice!

You say turn off the mpregen in the config to fix the problem, but this doesn't. Turning off mpregen stops the hunger bar from going down at all while having it on just makes food go down and regen insanely quickly. Other than this glitch, this plugin is amazing. Great work.
EDIT: Sorry turning off mpregen did actually fix the problem. Turning off the mpregen in the config caused the hunger bar to not drain at all. Turning it off via '/vp mpregen' seemed to do the trick.
May I suggest having this off by default?

Working on update at the moment, however, the recommended build is still only 1.6.4. I will be updating to that version, but, I can also make a beta build for 1.7.2 as well.

If you would read the explanations, you would know why your hungerbar is getting refiller. It is not a bug, it is supposed to be this way as the hungerbar is used as the mana bar for the exclusive plugin skills. If you do not want this, set mpregen in the the core config file to false.

The plugin doesn't have to do anything with the player's hungerbar... :D It filled automatically the hungerbar and everytime the player loosed food in the hungerbar it automatically filled it up... So, deleting the plugin now until it is fixed.

What exact command are you using that causes the lag spike? Because on every server I've tested, there are no lag spikes.

Check the console for the error, usually the problem with an enchantment that it doesn't fit on the item you are trying to put it on, like armor enchantment on a sword. The enchantments should be in ids as well, not names, and the syntax in setting up an item is: item_id:meta_data,enchantment_id:level All these, other than the item_id, are optional.

I don't really know what was changed :/ But I'm using it on my server, and it seems to work so far. It works with the meta data eg: '6:3' but It won't accept the enchantment on an item.

Thank you for the suggestion and I will add it to the TO-DO list, however I have other things to focus on at the moment. I will get to this eventually tho :)
EDIT: on second thought, I might make a seperate plugin with the option to gain points from other sources, since if I add this feature to VotePoints, it won't be VotePoints anymore. The entire purpose of VotePoints is to get people to vote for the server and be able to get something in return.

Posted Oct 29, 2013It´s a nice plugin, but could you add to the config that you can set achievementsPoints to false or true and if it is true, you will get an choosen amount of points for a achievement you do? Like the "open your inventory" achievement. If you do it, you would get 1 Point. If you do the achievement "Diamonds!" You would get 50 points, etc.? It would be really nice if you could add this.
EDIT: If you woud do the feature above, would you think of adding support for this, too? http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/lolmewnachievements/ it would add many uses for it, too.

Thanks for the comment and I have meta support, enchantment and such already set up. It's in my newest version which is compiled, but since Bukkit changed the updater policies, it will take a while before the next update of the plugin. The documentation is a mess because I am a mess :D I am very bad at working on things during a long period of time and get confused in what I've done, what I'm doing and what should be done xD. I'll get to cleaning everything eventually :)
