Vote4Diamonds

Vote4Diamond is a plugin that allows users to vote on different voting sites and get diamonds (configurable) in return. Most of the plugin runs on your website. The plugin allows you to easily add different voting sites and custom rewards and messages.

Installation

Unzip Vote4Diamonds and drop it into your plugins folder.
Open up the config.yml and change it to your likings.
Let your users navigate to yourip:7357 or put it in your website in an iframe!
Enjoy!

To include it in your website, put the following code somewhere on it (you might have to change it slightly):

User Instructions

Navigate to the voting module.
Fill in your name and hit login.
Open and vote on the sites you want.
Hit the Redeem Now button.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this see if someone voted?: It doesn't. Because many toplists do not support special rewarding plugins. However, this plugin makes sure the user went to all toplists you defined.

Players are complaining they did not get their item, what now?: Make sure your players know the user instruction. Most players forget to hit the Redeem Now button.

Do players get their reward instantly?: Yes, the plugin automatically rewards the user if he is online.

How do I change the images used?: Simply got the website part, and open up the 'images' folder. In there you will find the images used and you are free to edit it.

Could you add xx to this?: Maybe, add a ticket or reply and I will see what I can do.

My web host have DirectAdmin panel. VPS company on witch stands my MC server telling me that they are not blocking the remote mysql. Can my site hosting block connection on the other server (my VPS) mysql???

Is it hosted by a hosting company and do you have cPanel? If so, it might be that your host is blocking remote MYSQL, so you might want to contact your host for that. The plugin uses a basic MYSQL connection and should work.

So my guess is either contact your host or look for remote MYSQL settings. If you still need help feel free to PM me.

Hello, i have problem with php error - Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'root'@'my.hosting.in' (using password: YES) in /way/to/voter.php on line 245 Error connecting to mysql

All data entered is correct, due to security I replace only the information contained in this error. I understand that my remote game server mysql database do not want to connect user 'root'@'my.hosting.in' but how and where can I change the privileges for this user? I tried everything, and connect via phpmyadmin to change mysql data base user privileges, but it does not work.

As for the people who do not trust their players that they actually vote, feel free to use votifier and you can probably find a way to get top voters to. This is just for people who might not want votifier or just want an easy to use vote for diamonds system.

I might however in the future add a possibility to check for actual voting with votifier to but it will require much more time (which I currently not have).

@drumming102 Please don't be a little troll. If the user doesn't want to actually vote then you are SOL. There is no need to talk down on this plugin, votifier is crap and most sites don't even support it. Can I ask if there even is a system that actually checks if the user has voted WITHOUT using votifier? Have you even made a plugin before? Do you understand basic HTTP requests?

Keep your ignorant and idiotic comments to yourself :)

Try renaming the voting website names to something like MineStatus instead of Website 1, your webhost might now accept the space between Website and 1.
