Vote4Diamonds

Vote4Diamond is a plugin that allows users to vote on different voting sites and get diamonds (configurable) in return. Most of the plugin runs on your website. The plugin allows you to easily add different voting sites and custom rewards and messages.

Installation

Unzip Vote4Diamonds and drop it into your plugins folder.
Open up the config.yml and change it to your likings.
Let your users navigate to yourip:7357 or put it in your website in an iframe!
Enjoy!

Iframe

To include it in your website, put the following code somewhere on it (you might have to change it slightly):

User Instructions

Navigate to the voting module.
Fill in your name and hit login.
Open and vote on the sites you want.
Hit the Redeem Now button.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this see if someone voted?: It doesn't. Because many toplists do not support special rewarding plugins. However, this plugin makes sure the user went to all toplists you defined.

Players are complaining they did not get their item, what now?: Make sure your players know the user instruction. Most players forget to hit the Redeem Now button.

Do players get their reward instantly?: Yes, the plugin automatically rewards the user if he is online.

How do I change the images used?: Simply got the website part, and open up the 'images' folder. In there you will find the images used and you are free to edit it.

Could you add xx to this?: Maybe, add a ticket or reply and I will see what I can do.

What do you mean exactly? That your players can vote more then once in 2 hours? If not, please try to explain it a bit better.

I settle on the time between 7200 vote, but my players are always coming voted continuous, 20-30 times in a row.

Any idea? is that I can send you my file voter.php + config.php?

Please doublecheck all your setting and your database. If it still does not work I think it is best to wait for a big update I am bringing out in 1-2 weeks which will install itself and hopefully wont be hard to get to work.

They should be able to vote once every 24 hours on the same IP & Account. If you want to set this to 2 hours go into the voter.php and search for 86400 and replace it with 7200, this sets the time you need to wait before you can vote again to 2 hours.

Hello, I installed and configured vote4diamonds his works perfectly well.

My question is, I do not want my players to vote several times in a row.

I try but I can not find how to block IP for each IP can vote only one time every 2 hours

Are you sure that the plugin connects to the same database as the website? Please double check this because it is probably the cause.

Hello, I have a problem, I think I am doing everything correctly, but when I vote for my server, then I click on "redeem", nothing happens on the server, I do not get any diamond. Could you help me please?

Oh god ! I found it ! :) I don't now yet why, and i'll search why, but if i include wp-load.php (i work with wordpress) it works ! Even if nobody help me, thank's ! I hope that if someone have the same probleme it will works. Just to explain what i did : I wrote include ("../wp-load.php"); just after the @header.

Hi guys, First, i'm sorry if my english is bad. And then, i have a problem. I read almost all comments, and i didn't find my pb. So i post here. My problem is that i have an "undefined index : voteuser in .../voter.php on line 51", and the same with "site in .../voter.php on line 51". I know what it means, but i didn't find where they are called ... Thank's

It is currently not possible with the plugin, but what you could do to get this working is: Search for the following code:

$i=1; while($i < $commands+1) { $cmd = $command[$i]; $cmd = str_replace("%user%",$user,$cmd); $cmd = str_replace("%points%",$voting,$cmd); $query = sprintf("INSERT INTO vote_tasks(user,command) VALUES ('$user','$cmd')"); mysql_query($query); $i++; }

And replace it with:

$cmd = $command[rand(1,$commands)]; $cmd = str_replace("%user%",$user,$cmd); $cmd = str_replace("%points%",$voting,$cmd); $query = sprintf("INSERT INTO vote_tasks(user,command) VALUES ('$user','$cmd')"); mysql_query($query);

I have not tested it yet but this should make it give one of the items on redeeming, this means, it will take one random command from your config file. So for example, with the config.php you get when you download the plugin it will have a 50% chance to broadcast a message and 50% chance to get a diamond.

I hope thats all you need, if not, feel free to ask.

Can we make a list of gives and put a random choice when the player click on Redeem? to have a random give at all times?

I put site1 in config.php in the site but no more changed Watch in : http://www.plastiserv.fr/voter.php

And when i change the $votingdbname in voter.php, i dont have error but the player have not wait time he can vote 10000times in a minute
