VoteKick 2.0
The ultimate punishment plugin ! Now with improved security, and logs !
Your players will be able to vote to kick, ban, or temporary ban these damn trolls from your server, useful to grant access to liberty to your players, major when there is no mod online !
Commands and Permissions :

Configuration :

Changelog :
Please backup your current config files and language and remove them from the plugin folder, the new ones will replace it.
Added :
- votekick.vote node allows to use any vote
- votekick.start node is needed to start a vote
- ban and tempban reasons showing in the chat
- voteunban command for tempbanned or banned players
- votemute to stop receiving messages or receive them again
- votestay vote limits
Fixed :
- VoteTempBan delay not working
- Vote limits not allways showing correctly
Improved :
- Faster command managment
- Total tempban duration now showing in tempban logs

Actualy this plugin uses its own ban system, so it should not interfer with the other one.
I though I'd be using MCBans to improve this ban system, but there has not been enough votes for this in the poll.
That idea to add custom commandsis not bad, but then I should use a different way to check if a player is banned on his connection. So far I used an internal system of bans... I'll think about it, thanks for the feedback !

I have an idea: A new permission such as: votekick.power.XXX
Replace XXX with the amount of kicks the players vote casts. E.G:
votekick.power.2 would cast 2 votes when the user does /votekick This is useful for VIP members/donators.
Same could apply for vote stay.

Limit it to 1 vote at a time like the plugin called banvote. I do like banvote but it recently has not been updated for a long period of time so I am searching for an updated votekick. Since all the old ones don't actually ban. They just kick them and the player rejoins because of the minecraft updates. So basically limit it to 1 at a time

Posted Jan 29, 2013Oh and Shayana_fr, there is a bug or something with me that is in the newest version of votekick. When you start a votekick, for some reason it doesn't vote and immediately bans the player? I am confused if it is a bug or something that i am doing.

I wouldn't like that because some staff is untrustworthy and what if the staff is committing the crime? I think it should always be able to votekick someone
