Installation
- Download the VirtualPack.jar and place in in you plugins folder.
- Install Vault the same way.
- Install WorldEdit. If you don't want to install it as a plugin, simply place the jar in plugins/VirtualPack. (I need WorldEdit because of the utilities that are bundled with it, and I need those to register the commands.)
- Install a Vault-compatible permissions plugin (see the Vault project page).
- Now either install a Vault-compatible economy plugin or set the "economy" value in the VirtualPack config to "false".
- Install ProtocolLib if you need it.
- Start your server.
- Maybe read the configuration page.
- Have fun.
Importing other plugins' saves
Supported plugins:
- AlphaChest
- Backpack

Alright people, it's too much. Do NOT ask me to:
- Change /v because it is used by vanish already. Change it yourself in the config.
- Update the plugin to a new Minecraft version. I'll do it as soon as possible anyway.
If you do one of the above, you don't deserve to talk to me and I won't do anything else than sending you this video.

1. What do you get when you just do "/v" or "/v ad".
2. What happens if you do the same in the console?
3. Please upload or paste your permissions.yml somewhere so I can check it, just to be sure.

Hello,
The permissions are correctly set and I am already listed as OP.
Every single plugin works correctly except this one. Also, I am using PEX as well.
I've tested different variables along with de-opping myself, setting myself in different groups with the current permission node.

"Doesn't work" is not an error description. And yes, it works with PEX (and all other Vault-supported permissions plugins). You must be doing something wrong.

Should work with dev build #54, didn't test it though.
Seems like there's no problem with the data.db file but something between Vault and the permissions plugin.

Posted Apr 7, 2013I dont want you to rush or something, but I would really like to update my server, how is the progress?
Would it help if I sent you my data.db file and you would convert it to the last file version?
Thank you very much, Martin

Set up your permissions maybe?
@FourDowning
Working on it. ;)
@zork23
It should actually be compatible with any old saves, but if it says "COULD NOT LOAD USER DATA", there's always an error log too, please post that one.

Posted Apr 5, 2013Hello, I got a problem with your data.db files. I would like to convert the old format to the new format, because I keep getting the COULD NOT LOAD USER DATA error even when i have the newest version of vault.
When i delete my old data, plugin works fine, so there cant be a problem with Vault (like i said, I am using latest dev build).
Is there a way to open this data.db format using some kind of decryption? Or is there a way to manually transfer data to this new format?
Thanks

Shouldn't be too difficult to add a command which does that. ;)
@Liger_XT5
1. Doesn't exist, but I'll add it.
2. Click.

Posted Apr 3, 2013I don't suppose there is a way to (by command or timer) to clear out player info in the database files if they exceed last-online time?
I doubt virtual pack has the issue, but in the past I've had a plugin on my server that became slower and slower due to so many inactive players in the files. After manually clearing out all the old players that haven't been on for 60 or so days, things ran faster.
Does virtualpack have a possible issue or such? Does it help that the only people that can use the features are those who have the permissions, so nothing is even stored in the database for the players who do not have the permissions?
I am only letting donators have access to most of the features, non-donators have access to chests.
Also, I think I over looked it, is it possible to limit the number of, let's say chests, per group? I've set the global to 5 chests, but I'd like to allow donators have more than non-donators.

They won't lose what they have already, you'll have to use "/v ad take".

So, these are my settings, however they can still open more than one chest?
