FireWorks

Change Log:
V 1.3: Changed the signs to be numbers instead of characters. Made the signs automatically create if one isn't there. Signs height and power can be adjusted by right clicking & shift+right clicking! Made iron block's height and power adjustable! Added disable and enable commands! Removed some unnecessary code. Temporary Download Link (Version 1.3)
V 1.2.7: Fixed so that other portals aren't affected by this plugin ((Sorry that they were in 1.2.5!)) (Only End Portals).. and made it more difficult to teleport to the end (if not impossible) through the fireworks.
V 1.2.5: Made it so people can't teleport to the end through the fireworks;
V 1.2.1: Bug Fix.
V 1.2: Added light to fireworks and removed the requirement to type 'firework' on the top of the height and power signs.
V 1.1.1: Added sign 'power' and 'height' functionality.
V 1.0.1: Compiled with JDK6 instead of 7.
V 1.0: Cleaned up code, fixed some bugs. Reduced the firework intensity to reduce lag - for more intense fireworks send power to more than one side of the wool block at once.
V 0.6: Initial Release.

That might have something to do with it;
In the Minecraft Jar/Particles.png theres supposed to be little swirlys that are used for the potions when they are shattered on the ground and thats the special effect that is used to create the 'fireworks' for this plugin :)

Posted Sep 5, 2012The colors aren't showing, just see glass exploding? However I am using a dev build of CB, the explosions with iron work fine though.
MC 1.3.2, java 7, CB 1.3.2-R0.2 (Build #02359)
Love the plugin, just wish it worked right for me.

As far as the redstone bug; I'm working to fix that, for some reason the bukkit event that's "Called when a redstone current changes" doesn't work with repeaters or torches :/ But that should be fixed within the next weeks :)
"Using repeaters makes it easier to stagger the timing, and isolates blocks that are right next to each other." - It does check redstone that is UNDER the wool as well so until i get that fixed that's one way to isolate it :) (I realize that's a pain :( but its a work-around)
The height at which the fireworks appear is currently affected by the power level; But I do plan on making a configuration file that allows you to change that to a constant instead; And actually the sign thing is a great idea :) I'll look into doing that! .
I tried to use the skyblocks that the bukkit plugin 'Torchlight' used to use that created light; But that plugin went inactive because those don't work anymore.. I also tried putting fire into the sky and fire doesn't place unless it's on a block :( So the only thing left is glowstone blocks appearing in the sky and i figured those would be ugly :(
Thanks for the feedback; Also: Love the name xD

Posted Sep 4, 2012small redstone bug: fireworks are not triggered if a redstone repeater is placed against the wool blocks - even though they are actually receiving power. Only works if redstone wire is against the blocks. Using repeaters makes it easier to stagger the timing, and isolates blocks that are right next to each other.

Posted Sep 4, 2012Love how easy this is! I do wish I could configure the height at which the fireworks appear. Even better, if each cauldron had a sign placed on it so player could type in the height for that particular launcher.
Lastly, this would be far cooler if the fireworks had some light to them. Can't actually see most colors at night. has to be just the right light level to see anything. Could the symbols glow somehow? maybe some brief flash of light source in the sky? Something to make them visible from a distance. Would make a great signal flare!
