Recently updated and recoded to actually work!
What does it do?
Tired of being brutally murdered and not being able to get your revenge? Be tired no longer! If a player eats gunpowder, it activates Vengeance Mode. This basically means that, for five minutes(default), if they are killed, they will create a TNT sized explosion(default) at their death point.
Can be can configured to deal no damage and just show the cool effect
Why?
Well firstly, it gives a use to gunpowder, other than TNT, which whilst very fun, is useless in PVP or other types of combat. So this means, that it adds a new, more dangerous element to PVP.
Permissions
vengeance.consume - allows the player to consume gunpowder to apply the effect
How to Install
- Download Vengeance.jar
- Copy it into your plugins folder
- Restart or reload your server
- Enjoy!

I have the plugin CreeperHeal so i can have no problem sice teh blocks regenerate

The amount of damage it will do, will be configured by explosion size, when I eventually get round to adding in a node to disable block destruction.

Posted Jan 30, 2012I suggest adding a node into the config that allows us to set how much damage the blasts do. I'd like to, say, give donors the ability to eat gunpowder for Vengeance mode, but make it so that the explosions only hurt like creepers, so that it's not overpowered.
Also, what about adding an element to disable block destruction as a result? If someone accidentally activates this in their house and gets killed, things go very badly very quickly.

And as a fellow developer, I'm going to have to agree with what TeamAss said. Vault is really nice and easy to use. Should knock off permissions and economy support in your Todo list in one go.
