VariableTriggers

Make your own plugin like features and more using VariableTriggers
This is a very powerful plugin that has unlimited potential. Create triggers that run lines of script when a player Clicks or Walks on a block (dirt, door, switch, trigger, torch, any block) or Create Event Triggers such as PlayerDeath , EntityDeath, BlockBreak, BlockPlaced, Join, Quit, Respawn, Interact and EntitySpawn that also run scripts. You can define Area Triggers and Command Triggers as well. You can use Dynamic Object variables and conditional IF and ELSE statements in the scripts. You can run any command that a player or OP can run and many speacial built-in commands to Teleport, Spawn Entities, Play Effects Visual or Sound, Set Blocks, Toggle Blocks, Check Players Heath and much more!. The scripts are executed on their own threads to take the strain off of the main server thread.

Posted Nov 20, 2012when using the /vt reloadscripts or /vt reloadtriggers command ingame it posts a message on console stating that the scripts or triggers have been reloaded but tells nothing to the player ingame that used the command. it would be nice to have a Triggers Reloaded or a Scripts Reloaded prompt in the ingame chat instead of just on the console

Understood. Just asking if anyone has gotten it to work with tekkit recently and what version. I'd be much obliged if you yourself would see if you can get them to work - but that's totally up to you.

I do not use or test against Tekkit. Others have said it works fine with tekkit in the past.

It's not broke. Look Command Triggers are just that Triggers. This is a way for you to make your own internal VT commands. Has nothing to do with the way you would write a plugin using Java.
No out side plugins know about these because its internal to VT.

Yes thats what I said. Its an internal feature of VT. Your making them on the fly as a trigger and script.

yeah well, I meant like bukkit doesn't consider it as a "real" command, as tab autofill doesn't work on command triggers.

OMG I love this plugin. It looks complicated at first, but it's sooo easy and fun to use. 100x better than CommandBook and the others of its kind out there. I will definitely donate once I make a few bucks on my server!

Yes. use the data byte id:byte 53:4 53:5 and so on. same for many things like signs the data byte is the facing value.
As in @SETBLOCK [BLOCKID:DATA] [LOCATION]
@H8llfire
Command triggers are totally an internal feature of VariableTriggers.

Posted Nov 18, 2012Hi, I'm soooo impressed by this plugin and what it can do. I totally endorse it :)
Um, so, is there a way to set the facing direction of stair blocks? I want to make a dropping staircase, but the stairs are all messed up.

Posted Nov 18, 2012this plugin is like one of the most valuable i found. I automated so many things with it and the scripting possibilites are so big. Also, it is easy to learn the features.
There is just one thing: When I create a command trigger, and i dont set it to override, it will be executed, but minecraft will show me "Unknown command, type blabla". If I set it to override this problem doesn't persist anymore, but the tab autofill won't work (only works for ?registered? or ?hardcoded? commands). Could you somehow change that?
thank you!
another thing: would it be possible for you to introduce some kind of runLater command, which will execute a given script after a user defined amount of seconds(@PAUSE would work for seconds)/minutes/hours/days. For example, simple /repair replacement, which will only work every 6 hours and execute /erepair.

Posted Nov 14, 2012Thank you Launemax, I would love to vote but, unfortunately, I'm still in school and don't have the money. Thank you for voting for this! Also mine is fully powered by VT, but now death events don't work so.... It can wait. Keep up the good work LexLaiden!
