What is Vampire?
With this plugin anyone can become a vampire, but do you want to? During daytime vampires cower from sunlight. During the night the humans reach for their holy water and wooden stakes as the vampires roam the lands with inhuman strength, speed and levitation-powers. Driven by their endless bloodlust, they devour all living in their way. Vampires...
- are destroyed by sunlight.
- are extremely vulnerable to wood and holy water.
- spreads the dark disease through combat and their own blood.
- kill and drink blood instead of eating food.
- regenerate health quickly at the expense of food-level.
- won’t be attacked by monsters unless the vampire attacks first.
- take no fall- or suffocation-damage.
- have stationary food level unless in bloodlust mode.
- move faster, jump higher and damage more with bloodlust.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Vampire.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.

Posted Mar 19, 2013Cayorion; would it be possible for you to make it so a player is added to for example groups;
Vampire_infected when infected and
Vampire when a full vampire?
I would like to prevent some other plugins from working when a player is a vampire.

I havent tested this yet, but it looks like here is the path to get to it. Server Folder > mstore > vampire_config@default.
There should be a file called instance.json. Open that in an editable progam like Notepad, then about halfway down it should say DROP SELF MATERIALS, then should have a list of everything that drops itself, and remove glowstone and that should be it.

Posted Mar 10, 2013So I see right below that the glowstone thing has been brought up, and while on this: https://github.com/MassiveCraft/Vampire/blob/master/src/com/massivecraft/vampire/Conf.java I can see the line that's causing it, I can't find where in the "config" it is...so I'd appreciate a dumbed down How-To on getting glowstone to drop dust, please :) Thanks

Can we get the permissions for this? people can not offer blood in my server for some reason "you do not have access to that command" it would be great if you add the permission nodes in the description. Also karatepancake's idea of bats is a great idea, could you work on that? minus food if your a bat but you can fly :). Edit : also it would be fun if you could hover 1 block off the ground for a time at the cost of food, and can you please explain what shrieking does? Thanks!
Edit's edit: Also permissions for other things due to not having permissions for the altars! also would it be posible to make a new config or somthing similar to make the plugin customizable? like only these items do extra damage or this much heat for fire etc.

Yea, sorry I saw someone mentioned it a few pages back. The glowstone bug started ever since I installed this mod. In the nether mining glowstone drops full glowstone and not glowstone dust.
