What is Vampire?
With this plugin anyone can become a vampire, but do you want to? During daytime vampires cower from sunlight. During the night the humans reach for their holy water and wooden stakes as the vampires roam the lands with inhuman strength, speed and levitation-powers. Driven by their endless bloodlust, they devour all living in their way. Vampires...
- are destroyed by sunlight.
- are extremely vulnerable to wood and holy water.
- spreads the dark disease through combat and their own blood.
- kill and drink blood instead of eating food.
- regenerate health quickly at the expense of food-level.
- won’t be attacked by monsters unless the vampire attacks first.
- take no fall- or suffocation-damage.
- have stationary food level unless in bloodlust mode.
- move faster, jump higher and damage more with bloodlust.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Vampire.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.

Posted Jul 25, 2012What a wonderfull and fantastic plugin! But Spout.. It just ruins everything, and it's only used for highspeed, and jump right? I have seen many plugins use the speedpotion-effect for more speed, and i'm sure there also is a way to jump higher without Spout.
Would you please consider to stop using Spout for speed and highjump, It really sucks, and destroys a really awesome plugin :/.
Anyways I love your work, very nice plugins you make!

Posted Jul 24, 2012Someone just needs to create something like the werewolf plugin that is for vampires that simply does not require spout. I think requiring spout ruins a lot of plugins chances to excell and receive a lot more attention and love. I would love to see a talented developer create one. Or love to see these authors create a spout free alternative since they did such an amazing job with this one. Truly awesome plugin here:)

Posted Jul 24, 2012Hi, I'm having the problem where when someone tries to offer/accept or set intent or click an altar and they're not an op it says that they don't have permission. I'm pretty sure this would be found under 'permissions' right? Well, I can't find that. I went through the conf and lang files and I can't find anything. I tried opening the Jar file and it gave me an error saying it couldn't open. Thank you

I had the exact same problem. It's slightly confusing, but you want SpoutPlugin and MCore3 aswell as this in your plugins folder. SpoutPlugin, not SpoutCraft. That's what was confusing me. Hope this helps.

Posted Jul 11, 2012when I start my bukkit server, one of the first things it says is vampire fails to load due to a spout dependency. is this a bug or does it really require spout? I was using the plugin before without it, I'm just updating.

is it possible to add a permissionnode on the altar creation? on my server we have a seperated rpg world and everytime when a player without any vampirepermissions places an altar block he gets a notification.
